I'm really satisfied with this cleanser! It's gentle yet effective at removing dead skin cells, and leaves my skin feeling hydrated after cleansing. Even though it contains scrub particles, it's not harsh, so I can use it for my morning wash or as a second cleanse in the evening. The cleansing effectiveness is good without leaving my skin feeling squeaky clean, which means no tightness after washing - that's a big plus! Comparing before and after use, my skin texture definitely feels smoother and more moisturized. When it comes to exfoliation, some products can strip away even the necessary dead skin cells, but this one seems to only remove what needs to go, making it great for daily care. While the foam isn't super dense, it lathers up nicely. Although I generally found it non-irritating, on days when my skin was particularly sensitive, the scrub particles could sometimes feel a bit harsh. So I wouldn't recommend it for those with super sensitive skin. This cleanser strikes a good balance between effective cleansing and gentle exfoliation, making it suitable for regular use. I picked up this product at the supermarket when it was on sale, as I had run out of my previous cleansing foam. It's a scrub foam with fine rice granules that leaves my skin incredibly soft after use. I'm more satisfied with it than I expected! (I use it once a day when my dead skin cells are particularly noticeable, and every 2-3 days for regular maintenance) If I had to point out a drawback, it's that when I rinse with water alone after use, it feels a bit... unsatisfying? It doesn't give that thoroughly cleansed feeling. Even though I'm clearly washing it off with clear water, it's as if I've washed my face with rice water. Despite this, I've never experienced any blemishes from it, so I plan to repurchase! I just happened to have this at home and decided to give it a try. It's absolutely amazing! The more I use it, the brighter my complexion becomes. I'm already on my second bottle. It removes makeup incredibly well, and it's suitable for all skin types - dry, oily, combination, you name it! I personally didn't find any downsides, but everyone's skin is different, so your experience may vary. There are usage instructions on the back of the cleansing foam, so just follow those and you'll be all set.

However, my skin had a bad reaction after using it. My skin usually doesn't react badly to most products, but this one caused irritation. I couldn't continue using it, so I gave it to someone who found it suitable. Unfortunately, it just didn't work for me. It feels more comfortable than expected, not as rough as I thought. It's surprisingly effective at removing dead skin cells and seems to cleanse the pores well too. It's not completely free of irritation. I'm skeptical about whether the scrub is really rice bran as claimed, because it doesn't dissolve in water. I usually don't feel much effect from AHA/BHA exfoliating ingredients, so I prefer physical exfoliation like scrubs or peeling gels. However, these can sometimes irritate my skin and are difficult to use frequently given how quickly dead skin cells regenerate. This product, though, is great for daily exfoliation as it's combined with cleansing foam, and the particles aren't too harsh. It's perfect for a second cleanse when you've only worn sunscreen, instead of using an oil or balm. True to Skinfood's reputation, it's really good value for money. The scent is lovely, like real rice powder. After washing, my skin feels moisturized even without applying anything else. It's like I've truly cleansed with rice water. There aren't many scrub particles in it. While this means it's less irritating, it's a bit disappointing as you can barely feel the exfoliation once you've worked up a lather. It really smells like rice. I loved that you can sense traces of the natural ingredients in the product. It's gentle and non-irritating on the skin. As gentle as it is, it doesn't exfoliate well. Gentle on blemishes, this cleanser helps wash your face without any tingling sensation. After rinsing, there's no feeling of tightness. If you're worried about skin damage during your second cleanse, this seems like a great option. As someone with acne-prone, oily skin that's dehydrated underneath, I love this cleansing foam. It's gentle yet effectively removes dead skin cells, leaving my skin feeling softer with each wash. It's great for exfoliating without irritation, and the ingredients are top-notch. I'm already on my umpteenth bottle - it's that good! I usually only wear mineral sunscreen, but I still feel the need to double cleanse as one wash doesn't feel thorough enough. While the gentle ingredients are a plus, the cleansing effectiveness isn't particularly high. That said, it works exceptionally well for me in every other aspect. The scrub particles aren't super fine, so I prefer to work up a lather in my hands before applying it to my face.
