This is my nth purchase of this foundation! I can't live without it now. The staying power is truly impressive, and the coverage is excellent. Make sure to use it with a spatula... Get it at Olive Young with the cushion compact special offer! There are no cons. There won't be any. No, there just aren't any. None whatsoever. Flaws? I've thrown those to the dogs. The coverage, adherence, and lasting power are truly exceptional... I've only used Hera foundation before, but this Giverny foundation is genuinely amazing. I really wish everyone would try it! It excels in every aspect, including preventing darkening. I recommend purchasing one shade lighter! There was absolutely no darkening at all. The shade is quite dark for a #17, making it more suitable for those who typically use a brighter #21 rather than true #17 users. This foundation seems perfect for oily or combination dehydrated skin types! The color is beautiful and it applies lightly. It feels much lighter than other foundations. When applied, it gives a no-makeup look... It's amazing. The coverage for redness and blemishes isn't bad at all!! The adherence to the skin is absolutely fantastic. Those with dry skin might want to think twice before purchasing... I have dry skin, and perhaps because this foundation is matte, it accentuates all my skin texture. It gets worse as time passes... It doesn't exactly separate, but it feels very dry on the skin. If you use a concealer to cover redness and blemishes first, then apply this foundation over it, it covers everything perfectly! Adherence ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It definitely seems to stick well to the skin, but if your skin is dry or you haven't properly layered your skincare, it magically starts to separate. 3. Recommended skin tone I used to use Wake Make shade 13, and this is slightly darker than that. 4. Hydration ⭐️⭐️⭐️ It's more drying than I expected... Unless I mix it with Wake Make foundation or a facial mist, it tends to sit on top of the skin from the moment I apply it, often emphasizing dead skin cells. Overall: I won't be repurchasing this... Those with fewer blemishes or less dry skin might find it worth trying, though. This is truly my holy grail foundation - I'm on my third bottle! It's absolutely perfect in every way: adhesion, longevity, coverage, and skin enhancement. The ivory shade is stunningly beautiful. There's nothing to complain about. I'm completely satisfied with this product.
