You can feel the hydration surge as soon as you apply it. Dryness disappears instantly. The absorption is fantastic - when you scoop it with a spatula and place it on the back of your hand, it's not like a regular cream. It has a unique, fluid texture that glides on smoothly. There's a slight warming sensation, which might be due to the fragrance. If you don't let it absorb well, it can leave a sticky feeling on the skin.

I had high hopes due to the positive reviews! On the bright side, it absorbs well. The texture feels moisturizing and packed with nourishment. I didn't experience any deep dryness while using it. However, the fragrance was a bit too strong for my liking, and I noticed it was somewhat sticky. I thought the texture would be light and refreshing like a soothing gel, but that's definitely not the case... I always enjoy using this product. It has a pleasant scent and the moisturizer provides great hydration. I wish there was a bit more product in the container. Also, it's hard to scoop out the cream near the edges without a spatula. - My skin type: Combination dehydrated, with occasional blemishes The hydration level is perfect for applying after a shower I was worried it might smell like ginger because of the name, but it actually has a subtle, pleasant scent. I love that the ingredients are good quality and it's not irritating to my skin It's a bit wasteful. It absorbs beautifully and feels incredibly hydrating. Above all, the fragrance is absolutely delightful. It has a lovely rose scent. I can't really think of any downsides, but considering the price point, there are many other great products out there. It makes me wonder if this one is truly necessary.

I usually stick to my regular cream because it doesn't cause blemishes and has great hydration, so I never really looked at other creams. But I happened to visit an AK department store and stumbled upon their pop-up store. I tried it on the back of my hand and thought, 'Hmm? The texture is light but bouncy. It'll probably lose its moisture quickly though.' Then I shopped for 4 hours... and wow, the back of my hand was still plump and bouncy! So I immediately bought it along with the serum. The scent is ginger, and even though I don't like ginger, this fragrance has a floral note mixed in, so I didn't mind it. Above all, the hydration is incredible. When I cleanse in the evening, carefully apply it to my face, and go to sleep, I wake up with plump skin. The only downside is that the amount is quite small. I wish they'd sell a larger size. As you use the container, cream tends to remain on the sides. I don't scoop the cream with my fingers but use a personal spatula instead. I absolutely loved it! I bought it on sale, and it's perfect for those of us with combination dehydrated skin. It's a gel formula, but feels a bit richer than typical gels? Not heavy at all though. After applying and letting it absorb, your skin feels like it's drenched in moisture!! I'd love to repurchase, but it seems to be out of stock at the moment. During winter, using this product along with an oil was enough to keep my skin sufficiently hydrated, and the moisture lasts for a long time. The price is a bit of a downside. Maybe because I initially bought it at a discounted rate. If it were just a little cheaper, I'd stock up on it. First off, the scent was better than I expected! The texture is light and not too thick. I'm almost done with a whole bottle now, and the hydration is pretty good, so I find myself reaching for it often. There aren't really any downsides, but if you have dry skin, you might find the lasting power slightly lacking.

I love that it comes with a spatula inside the lid, and the container is convenient, seals well, and is made of transparent material so you can see how much product is left. The ginger scent becomes stronger as you use it, and it changes slightly when applied, which can be a bit off-putting.
