On particularly sensitive days, you might feel a slight tingling sensation characteristic of the spicules. For those with dry skin, using this product alone may not provide enough moisture. I'd recommend layering it with a cream or hydrating serum. When your skin feels especially dehydrated or lacks elasticity, applying a generous amount at night can make a noticeable difference. By morning, you'll find your skin texture significantly smoother. It wasn't as tingling as I expected. If you apply a lot under the eyes where the skin is thin, you might feel a slight sensation, but it's less uncomfortable than the Daiso Lidl Shot. It seems suitable for daily use. I also like how it automatically lifts from the bottom when you use it. This serum seems to work like a micro-needle treatment, helping active ingredients absorb into the skin through tiny spicules! First off, compared to actual micro-needling, it's not painful at all. (Even less uncomfortable than a 50-needle treatment!) It's very gentle on the skin. After applying and gently pressing it in, your skin feels velvety smooth. You'll definitely want to follow up with a nourishing or hydrating essence afterward. While I'm not sure about its effectiveness on its own, the low irritation factor means I've been using it consistently morning and night! When used together with the vitamin ampoule it comes with, I'm quite satisfied with the glow it gives my complexion. There's nothing particularly negative to mention. Perhaps the fact that it can't be used alone? (But I think that's just the nature of serums in general.) For those who haven't tried micro-needling before or have super sensitive skin, it might be better to start using this every other day rather than twice daily, and gradually increase usage as your skin adjusts!
