The main ingredient being hyaluronic acid seems to help maintain hydration for a long time due to its viscosity. I also like that it comes in a glass bottle. The small volume and high price? It's quite expensive considering the ingredients. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinDec 30, 2016
Hello there! I've been using this moisturizer for over 3 years now. While it feels a bit sticky, it's an absolute must before applying makeup. It absorbs into the skin, creating a plump and firm texture. This product really brings your skin to life, giving it a translucent and vibrant appearance. The shelf life is somewhat short, and it tends to spoil easily. It's also quite pricey for the amount you get. Usually, when you buy a toner, it lasts for quite a while, right? The price is always a sticking point. I spray on some mist before applying this product. There aren't really any special tricks to using it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDec 5, 2016
It's not drying at all. Perhaps due to the sugars, it doesn't make my skin feel tight. It's quite usable. It feels sticky. You need to wash your hands after applying it. Your face also feels tacky, so using a mist spray is a must. That makes it more bearable. Probably because of the sugar content, it solidifies stickily around the opening. Make sure to clean the opening. - fo********Dry SkinSensitive SkinNov 22, 2016
The product comes in a hygienic glass vial, which is great for portioned use. It's an oil-free, preservative-free cosmetic that doesn't cause any allergic reactions. These are definitely strong points in its favor. While it does provide some hydration, it tends to feel a bit sticky. I wouldn't recommend applying makeup over it. Since it's completely oil-free, as soon as you apply foundation, it creates white patches and doesn't blend well. It's somewhat okay with oil-based foundations, but using expensive oil-free skincare with oil-based makeup defeats the purpose of oil-free products, so I can't recommend it. This is best suited for those with clear skin who don't need makeup and only use skincare. - js****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinOct 1, 2016
I bought this on my dermatologist's recommendation. It seems great for sensitive and dry skin. It's a bit lacking if used alone. You'll need to layer it with other products. - qk********Normal SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresSep 24, 2016
I loved that it's free from harmful ingredients, doesn't leave an oily residue, and feels so light you barely notice it's there. However, it can feel a bit tight on the skin when it dries, which might make it challenging to use in winter. Also, it's quite pricey, and I didn't see any significant results. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinSep 7, 2016
I've switched all my skincare products to SkinCell, from masks to basics and even shampoo. For moisturizing, I only use this one product morning and night as my base. It provides sun protection and has a slightly thicker consistency than a base emulsion, which I really like. When my skin hadn't fully recovered, even at the 6-month mark, I sometimes felt a tingling sensation and dryness when applying it. Now at 7 months, I mix in a drop of face mask essence, which eliminates the tingling and greatly reduces the dryness. However, it does feel a bit sticky. After a consultation suggesting to mix in a drop of face mask if more hydration is needed, I tried it and it's really great! While my skin has improved a lot, mixing in a drop of leftover mask essence has eliminated any dryness or tingling. I plan to continue applying it this way from now on. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAug 13, 2016
After using this, my acne scars have really improved a lot! At first, I was skeptical because it looked like water, but I think patience and perseverance are the most important things with this product. It really works hard! The fact that you need to be patient and wait for results at the beginning... I plan to repurchase it - ri******Oily SkinAcne SkinJul 16, 2016
• It seems to strike a great balance between hydration and oil for those with oily yet dehydrated skin. • It feels like it creates a smooth film on the face, which gives a lovely 'Inner Glow' effect! It's amazing how it doesn't feel heavy at all, yet provides such a beautiful finish. • The price is a bit steep. However, I can't go back to using other products now. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJul 7, 2016
I've been using this for nearly 5 months and just made my third repurchase. I have skin with all sorts of blemishes - severe redness, large pores, adult acne, and dead skin cells. Since my school days, I've been stressed about my skin, so as soon as I became an adult, I started consistent skincare. For over 5 years, I tried everything at dermatology clinics - various lasers, medications, treatments, peels, exfoliation - you name it. But with little effect and feeling my skin become increasingly sensitive, I stopped the clinical treatments and began to focus solely on carefully selecting skincare products. During dry seasons like winter, I followed a daily mask routine. I also consistently used popular hydrating creams, rotating through different brands. This approach helped my skin become more hydrated and reduced flaking for about two years. The reason I started using Skin&Cell was because last winter, this method stopped working. No matter how many masks I used or how much moisturizer I applied, my face felt insanely tight - it was driving me crazy. For the first time, I started seeing wrinkles, and the stress was overwhelming. On the other hand, my boyfriend, who hardly uses any skincare products, didn't even know what skin tightness felt like. This made me start questioning skincare products in general. I read books about cosmetic toxicity and researched related materials... That's how I discovered Skin&Cell. The price was also comparable to the products I had been using. I started using Moisture Plus as my emulsion from mid-March! During the initial adjustment period, you might feel your face tightening quickly or feel less hydrated compared to mainstream products. But it's crucial to push through this phase. If you revert to your old products because of the tightness, you might feel instantly moisturized, but over time, you'll end up like I used to be. You'll develop a tolerance, feeling increasingly dry no matter how much cream you apply. I consider myself lucky to have escaped this cycle in my late 20s. It's been 5 months since I switched entirely to Skin&Cell products, and for the first time in my life, my redness has faded. As I've adapted, my face feels more comfortable with continued use. Amazingly, I have less flaking than when I was consistently exfoliating. My makeup also shows less flaking! One thing to note is that the texture is slightly sticky and watery, which might make it feel less moisturizing (especially in dry seasons). But you'll get used to it with continued use. In fact, now when I try mainstream skincare products even just on the back of my hand, they feel heavy. When you're struggling to adapt to Skin&Cell, read reviews to keep going - that's what I did. Try to detach yourself from obsessing over your skin, use the products mindlessly, and you'll eventually see the light. With my background in chemistry, I wonder why I didn't realize the harmful effects of cosmetics sooner. If only I had stopped using them earlier, my skin would have recovered faster. For those on a tight budget, start with the relatively cheaper products. The important thing is to stop using conventional cosmetics in the first place!
