The coverage is better than expected, and there's a generous amount of product, which is quite nice. It's quite matte, so I'd have to say it might not be the best choice for those with dry skin. I've been using the same foundation to refill it bit by bit, like a DIY refill system! - na******RecommendedJul 10, 2025
I bought it mainly because it was affordable, and I'm pleasantly surprised. The coverage isn't bad at all! Hmm, it doesn't exactly give that flawless, beautiful skin finish I was hoping for. Make sure to prep your skin well before applying. - yh********Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesRecommendedJul 9, 2025
The coverage isn't bad at all, and it worked really well for my combination skin. It didn't cake around my nose, and the staying power is incredible. I can't believe this only costs 5000 won... Once I apply it, it lasts nearly 12 hours without any patchiness. It's absolutely amazing! I'm not sure if it's because it's so cheap, but I noticed a couple of blemishes popping up the next day. That's why I figured I couldn't make this a permanent part of my routine. This review compares the positive aspects of the product's coverage and longevity with its potential to cause skin issues. The reviewer praises the product's performance, especially considering its low price, but expresses concern about breakouts, which prevented them from fully committing to using it regularly. - 9f********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJul 7, 2025
Honestly, this foundation is great except for the clay-like scent. The adherence is excellent with minimal transfer. If you apply thin layers multiple times, it truly lasts all day. I'm someone who never does touch-ups, but with this, I just need to apply some powder occasionally, and it stays put all day - it's amazing. My skin is quite oily, so if it works this well for me, it should be suitable for most skin types. For me, it starts to break up slightly after about 10 hours, but considering I haven't touched it up, that's not bad at all. It's just great. The value for money is insane, so everyone should get it. The amount is huge too - I've been using it for over half a year and still have plenty left. It's only around $50, so just buy it! As mentioned before, the clay-like scent is the only downside. Other than that, it gives a beautiful skin finish and offers excellent value for money. Applying thin layers continuously is the best method. Just be careful as it can suddenly become quite thick at some point! - sj*****Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJul 7, 2025
The coverage is decent and it has a matte finish, but if you prep your skin well, it doesn't feel too drying. I use it for touch-ups, and it's great value for money. The distinctive scent is not pleasant. It's somewhat similar to saliva odor. It's not too strong when you first smell it, but after application, it seems to intensify. - ch*******Dry SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 4, 2025
- jy********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 2, 2025
The value for money is insane, and I loved how it made my skin look!! Considering there are many cushion foundations out there that are more expensive but don't deliver this level of quality, this is truly an excellent product... I was disappointed by the darkening effect, blemishes, and the lack of a medium shade option. This review highlights the product's impressive price-to-quality ratio and its ability to enhance skin appearance. However, it also points out some drawbacks, including potential skin darkening, tendency to cause blemishes, and limited shade range. The reviewer seems to have combination dehydrated skin or sensitive skin, as they're concerned about darkening and blemishes. They might benefit from a brightening moisturizer or products that help even the skin tone while providing coverage. - je***Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJul 1, 2025
Key Points I Focus On: 1. Skin appearance 2. Coverage 3. Longevity My Skin Condition: - Prone to redness - Combination dehydrated skin - Large pores - Mix of red and yellow undertones (between shade 21 and light 22) The photos start from the second image: [2. Before application, immediately after, and 2 hours later (no primer, base, or powder used - just this cushion in 33°C summer weather)], [3. 8 hours after going out (with primer, concealer, and powder, no touch-ups)]. All photos were taken with the default camera. 1. The color is decent, though a bit muted. Despite being a velvet cushion, it didn't feel matte due to the weather. It's not exactly smooth, confirming its matte formula, but my skin's natural oils gave it a glow. Even on other days, it had a luminous finish. It seems to maintain your skin's natural glow rather than mattifying it completely. I prefer my foundation to have a glow and then use powder for an inner radiance, so I liked this. Not sure how it'll perform in winter though! 2. It covers redness and pores reasonably well [see 2nd photo]. It won't completely hide blemish scars, so you might need concealer for perfect coverage. While larger pores and texture are still visible, it blurs smaller pores around scars nicely. Larger pores can be dealt with using powder. The back of the lid has a textured surface for product control. The formula doesn't feel like it applies thinly, but this surface is super useful for achieving a thinner application. The cushion puff is plump, allowing for smooth application without leaving marks. At 5000 won for 15g, it's satisfying. It's good for its price, but I wouldn't say it's the absolute best out there. 3. There's slight darkening, but for me, it starts bright and settles into a more natural look over time. It's more like a setting process than darkening. I didn't notice this when I mixed it with a color-correcting base. [See 2nd photo] It tends to settle into the creases around the nose. I only wore it for 2 hours that day, but it creases more with longer wear. I try to apply less product there, but it still happens. I usually just blend it out... not the best solution, but it works for me. In the 3rd photo, you can see where I've blended it out, which removed some of the product. Other than that, it doesn't break down badly. It lifts slightly on dry areas like the outer cheeks and smile lines, but it's not very noticeable. It even holds up well around the mouth. Touch-ups are possible, but if you have large pores, it might be tricky without removing and reapplying. It doesn't exactly separate, but it can settle into pores. The scent is neutral - you probably won't love it, but you might dislike it. I didn't notice it much unless I put my nose right up to the cushion. I struggled with shade selection, so here's some color info: Initially, I considered shade 2 due to reviews saying it ran light. But with mixed opinions, I decided to try samples. A tip I've heard is that "the side of your hand matches your face color best." I swatched shades 1 and 2 on the side of my hand [see last photo]. Shade 1 gave a nice brightening effect on my skin, while 2 was darker than expected, so I chose 1. An in-between shade would've been ideal, but that's probably why this cushion is so affordable! I prefer a light application, so I dab a small amount on the puff, spread it on the lid's back, then lightly touch it to my face. Once it sets, it's not too bright, just pleasantly radiant. It matched my neck (which is lighter than my face), which I liked. A tip from Risabae: mix color-correcting base with the cushion on the lid for a thinner application. I use this method often! In my opinion, shade 1 isn't overly bright. It could work for those up to light shade 22 who want a brightening effect. It might be dark for those lighter than shade 21. At 5000 won, you could buy both if you're unsure. But I included this info for students who might need to be more budget-conscious. - ky******Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 30, 2025
It's affordable, yet doesn't skimp on coverage, skin-enhancing abilities, or built-in tools. There's nothing to dislike about it - it's truly one of my holy grail products! Personally, I'm satisfied with everything except maybe the packaging design...? - se*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRednessRecommendedJun 30, 2025
The ultimate cushion foundation that's winning everyone over! It's a fantastic value and doesn't look cakey at all. It even fills in pores beautifully. I've tried cushions from Banila Co, Clio, and IOPE, but this one takes the crown. Highly recommended! There's just one small drawback though - it doesn't last very long. It seems to be a bit weak against oily skin. But don't worry! If you set it with some powder and a fixing spray, it's not an issue at all. Even when it does start to fade, it does so gracefully without looking patchy. For those with combination dehydrated skin or super sensitive skin, this cushion foundation could be a great option. It provides a nice glow without emphasizing blemishes or dead skin cells. To extend its wear time, try layering it with a brightening moisturizer underneath for that coveted "Inner Glow" look.
