The fragrance is lovely, and it's typically recommended by hair salons. I enjoyed it so much that I've used two bottles already! It's incredibly expensive. I can't fathom why a shampoo would cost this much. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 4, 2021
Love it! This shampoo used at Amichi Clinic really does an excellent job of cleansing the scalp. The cooling effect is great too. The price is wicked high... I wish they'd offer some discounts! - hs*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityRednessDead Skin CellsDec 3, 2020
I discovered this at a hair salon during a treatment. It was gentle and effectively removed dead skin cells from my scalp, which I really liked. Personally, I noticed excessive hair loss when using this. I tried alternating with other products and then coming back to it, but strangely, every time I used this shampoo, I experienced significant shedding. So I had to stop using it. It seems it doesn't suit me. I've heard some people benefited from it during salon treatments though. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 17, 2020
Lathers well and leaves hair soft even without conditioner. After consistent use, I noticed new hair growth. While it's on the pricier side, it's actually more affordable compared to other anti-hair loss shampoos. It feels refreshing when you massage your scalp after shampooing. - ip*****Combination SkinAcne SkinSep 9, 2020
I discovered this shampoo while attending scalp clinic sessions. Since I have seborrheic dermatitis, I've been using it consistently due to its excellent cleansing effectiveness. Looking at the ingredients, I'm quite disappointed. Although it never felt particularly gentle, I continued using it as I was accustomed to the product. Recently, I've noticed increased hair loss and persistent itching, so I decided to check the ingredients. It seems I'll need to switch to something else... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 6, 2020
I tried this before when it was on home shopping, but was disappointed. So I came back to the Damo shampoo. It definitely suits me better! I was so disappointed with other products, but I'm satisfied with this one and using it well. Sometimes I apply the shampoo and leave it on for a while before rinsing. It feels even more refreshing and nice that way! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinDec 26, 2018
I think this might be a new formulation... It lathers well and seems to have good cleansing effectiveness. In the past, it felt like it was strengthening my scalp, but now it just feels like a regular shampoo. - go********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedDec 2, 2018
It lathers up nicely and gives a thorough cleansing feeling. I liked that I didn't need to use conditioner afterwards. Due to the high price, I always buy the large size to make it more cost-effective. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJun 1, 2018
I first discovered Damo shampoo about 15 years ago, and I remember liking it back then. Recently, I repurchased it for my husband's scalp issues. He has seborrheic dermatitis, which caused his entire scalp to be red and flaky. Using this shampoo along with Damo Scalp Fuller Shampoo (for hair loss) has almost completely resolved the problem. However, I was shocked when I looked up the ingredients just now! While it's on the pricier side, what's more disappointing is finding out it contains six harmful ingredients, including sodium laureth sulfate. I'm seriously reconsidering whether to continue using it... The effectiveness is great, but the ingredients are a total letdown. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJan 11, 2018
I'm currently using this product. Although I haven't been using it for long, I'll share my thoughts. It's a quite well-known hair loss prevention shampoo. The nice thing is you don't really need to use conditioner after shampooing. For a hair loss prevention shampoo, the ingredients are really disappointing. Honestly, if I had known about these ingredients before buying, I probably wouldn't have purchased it. The price is a bit steep too. I've only been using it for a week, so I'm not certain, but I seem to be developing some redness on my scalp. I'm not sure if it's because of this shampoo though. I'll update my review after using it a bit longer.
