I absolutely recommend this sunscreen for anyone who loves mineral sunscreens but hates the white cast, especially if you have dry skin! The ingredients are top-notch too. The glow is a bit too intense, so you might need to tone it down a bit after application, especially if you're going bare-faced! - dm*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessRecommendedJun 29, 2025
Absorbs well It applies smoothly and lightly, absorbing like a nourishing essence. It's soft without the typical stiffness of mineral sunscreens. Oil and moisture balance It has a moisturizing finish without feeling dry. Texture A light and hydrating texture like a water-based essence! Contains white truffle and vitamin E derivatives for a natural, subtle brightening effect. The non-nano mineral filters provide sun protection without immediate irritation. Recommended skin types Super sensitive skin - Mineral sunscreen + non-nano filters reduce skin stress while minimizing white cast. Dry skin - It's quite hydrating, but for very dry skin, recommend using with a deep moisturizer. Advantages: Gentle and hydrating, minimal white cast, vegan + safety-focused Drawbacks Longevity Minimal brightening effect No waterproof function Cons: Slightly lacking in staying power & needs reapplication after water contact While useful as a makeup base, please note it requires reapplication for beach or exercise, and the brightening effect is subtle. - 35******Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 26, 2025
It's incredibly moisturizing and applies smoothly, even when you slather it on! Since it's virtually invisible once applied, I'd recommend using it before makeup rather than on its own. The scent might be a bit divisive. Personally, I'm not very sensitive to smells, so it didn't bother me much. - sh******Dry SkinRecommendedJun 26, 2025
I can see why this is so popular! The white cast is minimal, and you can really feel the hydration. It's the most moisturizing mineral sunscreen I've ever used. Highly recommended for dry or combination dehydrated skin looking for a mineral sunscreen. Nothing really negative to say. I just wish they'd have sales more often! - tj*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesRednessJun 25, 2025
The texture applies smoothly without feeling too thick or heavy. The finish feels quite oily, leaving the skin feeling congested. Unfortunately, due to its high oil content, I noticed some small bumps appearing on my forehead. - an************Oily SkinSensitive SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 24, 2025
One-line summary: For sensitive skin and daily family use, I absolutely recommend Dalba Waterful Mild Sun Cream! It's moisturizing with a fresh finish and gentle ingredients that won't irritate your eyes! What I loved: Despite being 100% mineral sunscreen, it applies smoothly and moisturizes like a hydrating cream without feeling thick or dry. It's gentle enough for sensitive skin with no eye irritation! There's minimal white cast, and it gives a natural brightening effect that leaves your skin looking clear and healthy. It absorbs quickly without stickiness or heaviness, making it perfect for daily use even in summer. It's certified vegan by V-Label Italy, passed low-irritation tests, and is suitable for sensitive skin - great for the whole family! The nearly fragrance-free formula is ideal for those sensitive to scents. With SPF50+ PA++++ it offers powerful UV protection for both indoor and outdoor activities. It's easy to remove with just a primary cleanser, making skincare routines more convenient. While the formula is moisturizing like the Waterful line, it might not be quite hydrating enough for very dry skin outside of summer. In drier seasons, layering with a cream is recommended. There may be a very slight white cast, which might disappoint those looking for absolutely no white cast at all. You might notice a slight richness typical of mineral sunscreens, and those with oily skin may find it a bit shiny in the afternoon, according to some reviews. After your skincare routine, apply small amounts in layers for a natural brightening effect and hydration. Apply thoroughly 30 minutes before going out for maximum UV protection. It can be reapplied without pilling. It can double as a makeup base for sensitive skin. With its gentle ingredients, it's great for family use and travel. - le*******Dehydrated SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJun 23, 2025
The texture is great, and it doesn't leave a noticeable white cast. I love that it's a mineral sunscreen! I usually break out a bit when I use sunscreen alone, so I was worried, but this one is great! The fact that it's mineral-based is definitely a plus! For combination dehydrated skin... it's quite moisturizing, so it can leave a bit of shine after application, and later on, it feels a bit oily. It might feel a bit heavy in summer, but I found it worked well for me in winter. When choosing a sunscreen, consider your skin type and the season. This product seems to work better for those with drier skin or during colder months. If you have oily or combination skin, you might prefer a lighter formula, especially in summer. Remember, finding the right sunscreen often requires some trial and error to match your skin's unique needs. - ca*******************Normal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJun 16, 2025
No eye irritation and it's wonderfully hydrating. True to its name as a mild sunscreen, it seems gentle on the skin. I have combination dehydrated, sensitive skin that's slightly oily, and this product worked well for me from autumn through winter. There's minimal white cast. There's a slight hint when you first apply it, but it fades away as time passes. I didn't really have any complaints. I bought it wondering if it might be an easy-wash sunscreen, but I guess that's not the case? The texture, absorption, and sun protection are all great, so I hope they don't reformulate it. However, if this sunscreen is actually easy to wash off, please promote that feature more prominently. If it's not, it would be great if you could develop a cleanser that removes it effectively in one go. It's great as a makeup base. It has a smooth application similar to a moisturizing BB cream. - al**********Dry SkinInner DrynessRecommendedJun 15, 2025
Absorbs well on dry skin. There's a slight white cast, but not enough to be bothersome. The amount is a bit disappointing, and the staying power isn't as long-lasting as I had hoped. - tn*******Dry SkinRecommendedJun 11, 2025
I've been using Dalba's Serum Mist for years, so I've always been curious about their other products. I finally got my hands on the Dalba Waterful Mild Suncream and have been using it for a few days now. The texture is just right - not too thin, with a slight viscosity. When I rolled it on, it absorbed smoothly. The product itself seems packed with hydration, providing a moisturizing effect as you apply it. Interestingly, it has a subtle scent reminiscent of Pocari Sweat or other sports drinks. It's quite surprising to find this kind of fragrance in a cosmetic product! While it does provide a boost of hydration, I found the finish to be slightly sticky. As someone who prefers a powdery or completely absorbed feel, this was a bit uncomfortable for me. However, I noticed that it does absorb nicely given some time. I'd recommend applying this suncream well before your makeup routine. Give it ample time to absorb into your skin for the best results.
