This lipstick nails both color payoff and hydration. As someone with perpetually dry lips who's always reaching for lip balm, I've struggled with the usual routine - applying balm, then lipstick, which ends up on the tube, or layering lipstick over balm, resulting in poor color and a thick feel. This product, however, does it all in one go. It's convenient and effective. The formula tends to pill a bit. Since my lips are dry, I apply it like a tinted lip balm. When my lips are particularly parched, I find myself using it up quickly. Another downside? The devilishly high price tag. Consider buying it at duty-free shops. Although these days, even duty-free prices aren't as advantageous as they used to be. - ba*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessRednessMay 6, 2025
Due to its subtle color payoff, I've used it as a lip balm substitute. The tint is sheer enough that your natural lip color shows through, so I've been using it over a lip tint as a balm-like topper. However, there are so many familiar and versatile products out there that I'm not sure about this one's unique appeal. It's quite similar to other cost-effective options on the market, and I'm not convinced it justifies its higher price point. It's the kind of product that's nice to gift or receive, and you'll use it if you have it, but it's not something you'd particularly miss. I'm hesitant about repurchasing. While I use it as a lip balm due to its minimal color payoff, it doesn't provide long-lasting hydration or intense moisture. Moreover, the ingredients aren't entirely skin-friendly. - lh******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 27, 2025
It's wonderfully moisturizing and perfect for achieving a natural makeup look. If I had to nitpick, it tends to smudge easily, especially in warm temperatures. But it's not a deal-breaker. - gi******Dry SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedApr 14, 2025
The color payoff is beautiful and long-lasting. I'm using it sparingly. The pink shade is lovely. If it clumps, it looks like pink chili powder.. Check often. The orange shade can make you look like you've been drinking kimchi juice. It's pricey, so use it wisely. - rk******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 1, 2025
One of the more pigmented lip glows. The color is perfect for cool-toned fair skin. Dior Lip Glow is a color lip balm with great hydration and beautifully clear shades. I'm already on my 6th tube, having tried various colors. It's slightly sticky and tends to melt easily in high temperatures, which is a bit disappointing. Also, it seems to wear off faster than lip balms from other brands. - wi***Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedMar 30, 2025
The color is absolutely gorgeous and it's great for the skin on your lips. I've been enjoying this product for a long time. There's nothing really disappointing about it, but if I had to pick something, I'd say it's on the pricier side. - ch********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 29, 2025
It's more intense than the one I used before. I realized it's not 001 Pink, but 008 Ultra Pink. Overall... it's great. The packaging is pretty, but the price is always wickedly high. I thought it was a lip balm, but the color is so intense that I'm hesitant to reapply. I end up carrying a separate lip balm. There are many fakes out there, so make sure to buy only from trusted sources. - yu*****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 1, 2025
As expected from a high-end department store brand... Dior's lip balm is truly amazing. It's moisturizing with beautiful colors... definitely a staple in my routine. The 008 shade is absolutely gorgeous. There's nothing particularly bad about it! Except for the price, perhaps? But hey, it's a luxury brand, so we just have to close our eyes and buy it, right? To be honest, it's not particularly special, but it's pretty, and that's enough. - le*******Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 28, 2025
It was moisturizing and had great hydration. Highly recommended for a natural lip look! The shade was similar to 001, perfect for those with light undertones or cool-toned skin. It doesn't stain well and slightly emphasizes dead skin cells. If you leave it open for even a short while, it gets smudged when closing. - hy*******Normal SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 27, 2025
It's a lip balm with a tint, so it's moisturizing while giving a made-up look. I love it! The formula is a bit sticky, so when it's windy, my hair tends to stick to my lips.
