I'm not entirely sure, but it seems to have high coverage. I bought it on a recommendation at duty-free, but after using it once, I haven't touched it again. It just doesn't appeal to me. With so many great foundations out there, this one doesn't really stand out. The pore coverage and staying power aren't particularly better than what I usually use, so I don't see a reason to keep using it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 25, 2022
Just the right amount of moisture for dry skin (perfect for those who prefer a semi-matte finish). It's ideal when set with powder. The staying power isn't exceptionally long. It seems unavoidable due to its hydrating nature. - ji****Dry SkinAcne SkinAug 6, 2022
The ivory shade is absolutely gorgeous, and the staying power is impressive It darkened a bit on my skin and the coverage was a bit light for my needs - ls*********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 13, 2022
They've improved the darkening issue in the new version, which is great. The adherence is also good, and I like how it applies in a thin layer. The coverage was disappointing. Since it's not a glowy type, I expected better coverage, but it barely covered anything. Also, I have sensitive skin, and it kept causing breakouts when I applied it. - rh*****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 19, 2022
The adherence, coverage, and staying power are all above average. It's definitely worth the money! Well, it needs to address deep dryness better. It can be quite drying on the skin. - ys******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 21, 2022
The lightest '00' shade for those lighter than 1N If you find Korean brands' 13 shades too dark, this 00 shade is perfect for 11-13 pale tones. It's not beige, but a neutral 'white' like paint, making it great for true 13 shades or for mixing with darker, yellower foundations. The standout feature is its incredibly fine texture. I've tried many high-end foundations, but this one feels unique from the moment it touches your skin. The particles are so fine that they seem to melt into your skin's texture, filling pores seamlessly and applying beautifully even on flaky areas like the nose. What's truly impressive is how it layers. Unlike most foundations that clump or pill when reapplied over powder, Dior's formula builds up cleanly and smoothly, even over a thick layer of powder. This really showcases the quality of a well-made foundation. Despite being classified as 'power matte', the finish is far from dry. It gives a 'polished' look that's sophisticated even without shine. It smooths skin like a primer, offering top-notch coverage for pores and texture without the blurred effect of brands like Shu Uemura or NARS. Coverage-wise, it's similar to Double Wear with medium coverage. However, while Double Wear can get cakey and thick with layering, Dior's formula builds beautifully, allowing you to achieve full coverage if desired. Comparing it to Double Wear, another fast-setting, power matte foundation, Dior looks incomparably prettier immediately after application. However, Dior's tendency to settle into lines is a significant drawback that Double Wear doesn't have. ((((Based on my skin)))) As you layer it, it tends to emphasize areas where skin elasticity is lower, possibly due to its very matte finish. Double Wear doesn't do this. Dior is even more matte than Double Wear. It's so matte that even those with extremely oily skin might need powder in mid-winter. Dry skin types might only manage it in summer with a very oily base, and those with very dry skin probably can't use it at all. Surprisingly, Dior doesn't adhere as well to masks as expected. While it lasts beautifully for over 12 hours on areas not touched by masks, it occasionally breaks down while emphasizing areas of lower skin elasticity. No matter how thinly applied, it always settles into lines around the nose and smile lines. Overall, if you have oily skin with good texture and minimal dead skin cells, it could last perfectly all day. But for problematic skin like mine, it's quite dependent on application technique and skin condition. Still, if it weren't for masks, it would be a flawless product. Due to its quick-setting formula, apply it quickly in sections. Always apply thinly for the most attractive wear-down. - qu*******Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedApr 6, 2022
It has a matte texture with a neutral tone. The color matches my skin well, and it's great for my oily skin type. Nothing bad to say! Though I think the glow line has slightly prettier colors. - wa********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedFeb 18, 2022
Detailed review (out of 5 stars): *Application = So-so. It sets faster than expected. The application isn't particularly bad, but it's not amazing either. It doesn't clump, but due to its formula, it's on the drier side and sets quickly... Feels just okay. 3 stars *Longevity = Excellent. Lasts for hours without touch-ups! 5 stars *Adherence = Good. The formula is on the thinner side and applies in a thin layer. 5 stars *Breakdown = Good. The setting power is top-notch, so there's hardly any breakdown. 5 stars *Mask transfer = Good. Almost no foundation transfer onto masks. 5 stars *Pore coverage = Good. Dior's biggest strength - pore coverage is nearly perfect. Coverage is quite good too. I'm satisfied with how it covers pores. 5 stars ★The formula is thin and runny, but when applied to the face, it sets extremely quickly, leaving a dry and slightly suffocating feeling. The finish feels a bit parched. To be more specific, it's beyond matte - it's a dry feeling that honestly doesn't make me reach for this product often. ★However, it seems like a great product for those with oily skin. Not recommended for dry skin types, but definitely recommended for oily skin. ★Even with a solid skincare routine and using a glowy primer, I couldn't shake off that parched feeling. Perhaps due to the cold weather lately, this product seems more suitable for summer use. Since I don't use it often, I haven't found any special tips for this product yet. But I'll definitely try it again in summer and update with any tips I discover. - ga****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 28, 2021
I'm currently using the 1W shade. It applies thinly, giving a natural skin-like finish. I'm very satisfied with its coverage, adherence, and longevity. Since my complexion tends to be yellowish, I found that 1W suits me much better and looks more natural than 1N. It might feel dry during winter. In my case, I prefer the benefits of matte foundations, so I'm willing to deal with the dryness by paying extra attention to my skincare routine while using this. - Hwahae UserDry SkinApr 26, 2021
Compared to Glow, this one feels a bit brighter even in the same shade. It's perfect for those who use shade 21. The coverage is medium. It felt slightly dry on the skin. When applied with a brush, it seems to bring out a slightly yellowish tone.
