The product packaging looks different, so I might be using the post-renewal version, but I'm leaving this review for the Olive Young version. First off, the scent is amazing, and it's my holy grail palette because it's literally a beast-sized amount that'll last a lifetime. While the three shades on the far right might look similar when applied, the remaining six colors show up beautifully on all skin tones. I highly recommend testing it out at Olive Young before purchasing your new ride-or-die palette. The major downside is that the packaging is really inconvenient to open. It's gorgeous and collectible, and despite its fancy design, I use it daily. However, the opening is so tricky that I still struggle to open it sometimes even after using it for a while. Using the top shadow in the center row as an aegyo-sal (under-eye aegyo) shadow gives perfect brightness and saturation. Plus, if you apply one of the two lighter shadows to brighten the aegyo-sal area according to your preference, you'll get that coveted TWICE-style aegyo-sal look. - Hwahae UserOily SkinRecommendedSep 10, 2020
This eyeshadow palette is my holy grail. I consider it the top contender among contouring palettes. There's not a single shade I'd discard. With just this palette, I'm ready for any occasion. The unique, light tone of Velvet Teddy is irreplaceable, and Nude has a buckwheat hue that I occasionally use for contouring. The application and pigmentation are simply unbeatable. If it hadn't been reformulated, I would have used it until I became a grandmother. I could overlook the flimsy tin case because the product was that good, but the reformulated version with its excessive white undertones is just... why? - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 12, 2020
I absolutely love this! It's so natural-looking that when I wear it to school, it's barely noticeable yet still pretty. It's also perfect for casual outings. My most-used shades are Lace Teddy and Heaven, oh and Natural? When I wear them, I feel like I've transformed into a human peach - it gives such a peachy, lovely, and natural makeup look that I adore. Lace Teddy is truly my holy grail eyeshadow! There's quite a bit of excess powder fallout, and the pattern imprinted on the shadow gets destroyed when using a brush. So I have to apply it with my fingers, which is inconvenient. Also, even when I apply the eyeshadow before going out, it always seems to disappear by the time I get home. - lu******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 12, 2019
It's half and half with a slightly different version that includes pearl. The palette contains just the right colors, making it perfect for long trips or business travel. The pigmentation is excellent, and I find myself reaching for it often. The case is quite heavy. The design leans towards a girlish aesthetic. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 17, 2019
I love the variety of colors and the practical composition that allows for frequent use The scent is a bit... intense. It doesn't quite agree with me, unfortunately - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJun 2, 2019
Perfect for natural everyday makeup looks. The purple shades? They're uniquely intriguing without being overwhelming! Great for creating depth with darker tones. The colors apply more intensely or vividly than expected. And as everyone knows, the packaging is absolutely stunning. I'm not sure if it's just me, but I'm at a loss on how to use the three white-ish shades on the left side. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedOct 8, 2018
As someone who usually prefers matte eyeshadows without shimmer, I find this matte eyeshadow palette very convenient to use. The colors are all basic shades, making it perfect for everyday looks. There's some excess powder when applying the eyeshadow with a brush. Also, it's disappointing that it's not easily available for purchase in Korea yet, although it can be found in duty-free shops. To avoid fallout, tap off the excess powder from your brush before applying to your eyelids. This way, you'll get great color payoff without any mess. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedAug 16, 2018
This is my go-to daily product! It's fantastic for creating eye shadow effects, and the way it enhances the outer corners of the eyes is incredible! The color payoff is great too. I pretty much use this for everything in my routine. I can't really think of any downsides! Although, since I've been using it for a while, the gold color at the bottom cracked. But that might just be due to long-term use. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedAug 7, 2018
The eyeshadow color combinations in this palette are absolutely stunning, and the pigmentation is so rich that it applies beautifully. Because the pigmentation is so intense, it can be a bit tricky to control the amount of eyeshadow you're applying! - rl*********Combination SkinAcne SkinOct 30, 2017
- The colors are all absolutely gorgeous and since they're matte, they're perfect for natural makeup looks. - This palette alone seems like it could be all you need for fall eyeshadow looks. - The powder does tend to kick up a bit... It's best to apply with your fingers or a very soft brush (I tried using a slightly coarser brush once and it left marks on the shadows). - While the colors are all different, as someone who's not particularly skilled at makeup, I struggle to see major distinctions between them. I just choose whichever shade suits my mood... Hmm... I do feel a bit uneasy about carrying it around. It gives off a fragile vibe... I'd recommend using it at home or handling it with extra care when you're out and about!
