Being a stick format, it's definitely convenient for on-the-go use. You can just swipe it on quickly, making application a breeze. Unfortunately, it tends to clump up sometimes when applying. When that happens, you have to use your fingers to smooth it out, which can be a bit of a hassle. The stick format offers great portability and ease of use, but the occasional clumping issue might require some extra effort to blend properly. - ha********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 30, 2025
The stick format makes it convenient to apply, and its gentle, hydrating formula leaves skin feeling moisturized. While it's hydrating and feels moisturizing when applied, it makes your skin look excessively oily. See the photo (red circle) for where it was applied. When you wear this sunscreen and walk around, a lot of dust sticks to your face. Not recommended for summer. Since it doesn't absorb well, it might be somewhat okay for winter use. Use sparingly. - sa****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 25, 2025
It's convenient to use and comes in a generous amount, so I find myself reaching for it often. Since it's a sunscreen, it seems unavoidable that it causes some blemishes on my skin. - at*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 24, 2025
In my opinion, this is one of the top sunstick products out there. Its biggest advantage is how it glides on cool and smooth without any stickiness. I have sensitive combination skin, and I didn't experience any blemishes from using it. While it's not sticky, it does apply quite moisturizing, which can lead to some shine. I found that lightly dusting with an oil-control powder after application helps manage the glow. - mi***********Dry SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 22, 2025
•The effectiveness is truly remarkable •Highly recommended if you dislike tinted sunscreens +I applied this only on my face during a beach trip, and while the rest of my body tanned, my face remained completely protected. Even after 6-7 hours outdoors, there was no sign of sunburn. As someone who usually tans easily, I'm genuinely impressed. Strongly recommend this product! •It leaves a shiny, oily appearance (might not be suitable for those with oily skin) +However, the effectiveness is still incredible. I really urge everyone to give this product a try! The rounded shape might make it challenging to apply around the nose area, but using the edge of the applicator can help you apply it more precisely. - jo*************Combination SkinRecommendedJun 22, 2025
✔️I have combination skin with an oily T-zone and dry cheeks and forehead, plus it's super sensitive! ✔️This product has been a real friend to my skin, using it without any blemishes so far. The stick format keeps my hands clean, and it glides on smoothly and neatly! The wide surface area means I can cover my whole face quickly, and it seems to strike a great balance between oil and moisture! When I swipe it on before makeup, my foundation applies beautifully. However, for some reason, there's a bit of a tingling sensation. I didn't experience this with the previous Dr.G Soothing Sun Cream, but sometimes my entire face feels a stinging sensation. Is anyone else experiencing this? When the burning sensation gets too intense, I end up washing it off completely... - jj********RecommendedJun 20, 2025
It's so convenient to carry in my bag! The stick format makes it easy to apply, and it's lightweight, making it perfect for on-the-go use. I haven't used it much yet, so I haven't found any downsides to mention. - yu******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresJun 14, 2025
I usually find applying sunscreen a hassle, so I decided to try this stick-type product. It's super convenient since you don't get it on your hands and can apply it directly. It's also great for carrying around in your bag. The application is smooth without any pilling, making it perfect for busy mornings. After applying, I do notice it leaves a bit of an oily finish, so I always use blotting paper to pat it down. If I don't, my face looks quite shiny, which bothers me every time I catch my reflection. So, I always make sure to blot off the excess oil before heading out - it just gives me peace of mind. While the sunscreen itself is convenient and applies well, I can't help but reach for the blotting paper every time I use it due to the oiliness. I wish it was less oily. It makes my skin look shiny when applied. After application, use blotting paper to reduce the oiliness. - he*********Dehydrated SkinInner DrynessRecommendedMay 25, 2025
As a sunstick, it applies cleanly and keeps skin hydrated. When comparing all sunsticks at Olive Young, this one had minimal stickiness and great longevity - it didn't crack or separate over time. Because it absorbs so well, I found myself using it up faster than expected. The easy application is a double-edged sword - while it makes the product a joy to use, it also means you might go through it quicker than anticipated. Consider this when budgeting for your sun protection routine. - km*****Normal SkinMay 22, 2025
The sunscreen stick has a moisturizing texture, so it's likely to be a great fit if you're not a fan of matte finishes. While I don't have issues with regular sunscreens, this sunstick irritates my eyes, so I had to switch to a different product.
