I bought the product without any prior testing or reviews. Compared to the watery texture I had expected, the product has a richer, oily feel to it. As I have dry skin, maintaining the balance between moisture and oil is important. As I've aged, I've found that I need more oil replenishment for my moisturizers to be effective. While this product does feel more oily compared to what I'm used to, it's not overly greasy or sticky. After application, my skin feels supple and smooth. Due to the richer texture, I've taken to applying a thin layer of a watery niacinamide and pure vitamin C serum first, then following up with this pore-tightening serum to boost the hydration. Although this serum is marketed for pore care, its hydrating properties make it a suitable replacement for my regular hydrating serum. However, those who prefer a lightweight, fresh texture or have oily skin may find this formula a bit heavy. I've been consistently using this serum, and while dramatic pore reduction may take time, I've noticed my skin's density and firmness have improved slightly, even during the warmer weather. I haven't measured the changes objectively, but I can see a visible difference in the appearance of my pores when I apply my sunscreen and cushion foundation. The area that feels slightly oily compared to the skin type may need to be checked if it is necessary to use it as a regular item after the test. As someone who enjoys the aroma, the scent seems a bit strong, but considering the supple skin and the mysterious glow after application, the scent can be tolerated and used. The lightweight texture absorbs well and the pump dispenser makes it easy to use. It has a distinctive scent that might be hit or miss, but I personally enjoyed it. It has a somewhat rich feel, so it might not be suitable for oily skin types. Most firming serums tend to have a thick, sticky texture that can feel heavy on the skin. However, Dr. Hauschka's Pore Refining Serum has a light, fluid consistency that's not only comfortable but also provides hydration and helps improve the appearance of pores. I really enjoyed using it! I can't think of any significant drawbacks. The texture is on the thinner side, but it absorbs beautifully into dry skin without leaving it parched, giving a deeply hydrating sensation. Although it's marketed as a pore-targeting ampoule, I'm disappointed that I didn't notice much improvement in my pores.

This product is worth every penny, and at this age, the difference between using it and not using it is truly remarkable. It noticeably reduces neck wrinkles and, as the name suggests, really firms up the skin. I have combination skin in summer and dry skin in winter, but I didn't find anything particularly disappointing about this product. If I had to nitpick, I'd say the texture is quite runny. It absorbs quickly and isn't too harsh on the skin, making it easy to use. The scent is unique, which might be hit or miss for some. When applied, you can feel it tightening your pores. If you apply too much at once, you might experience some pilling. For those with dry skin, it may not provide enough hydration. My mother says its lightweight texture is a plus, but she feels it lacks nourishment. I'd recommend this to those who dislike sticky products. It has a citrusy herb scent which I found pleasant, though my mom thought it was a bit odd. While it absorbs well, it seems to lack sufficient oil content. I've been using this product for a while now, and it's just perfect. The texture is spot-on, and I've definitely noticed my pores improving with consistent use. I was really stressed about my pores and always on the lookout for something that would work. This product has been a great find - both in terms of price and effectiveness. Since it's a pump-style product, if you don't clean the nozzle well, the serum can harden and come out in clumps the next time you use it. I wonder if they could consider a different type of packaging. Remember to clean the nozzle well after each use!
