The first highlight has fine shimmer particles that create a subtle and beautiful glow I received this as a gift, but I was disappointed because the color was extremely cool-toned

I think it would look absolutely stunning on cool-toned individuals. The case is also quite sturdy. For me, the colors seem a bit disjointed, so I don't reach for it often. (I believe I have a deep undertone/soft/muted complexion) It seems NARS generally has many shades that work well for cool-toned individuals. The color payoff is great! While the lavender shade is a bit weak, which is slightly disappointing, everything else shows up well on the face with just two swipes of the brush. I also like that it's not just for cheeks - you can use it as an eyeshadow base too! One downside is the excess powder kickup. It's fine if you apply it gently, but if you press a bit harder, powder starts flying everywhere. Apart from this and the weak lavender shade, I don't have any other complaints. Among the palette shades, the white shimmer works great as a highlighter. I initially wanted this palette because of its beautiful design. I'm quite satisfied using it as it has all the colors I wanted. The size and design of the palette are absolutely gorgeous! It's my most cherished makeup product. The powder doesn't create excess fallout and it absorbs well. Even when I'm not applying a full eye look, it's the perfect item for a mood boost with light makeup. The price is quite steep... (Nevertheless, if you consider it a lifetime keepsake, it's worth the investment). The palette doesn't come with a brush. You must always carry one separately, and I don't usually keep it in my handbag for everyday use. It's quite large for portability, bigger than the palm of your hand. The only downside is its lack of convenience for carrying around. I'm using multiple shades blended together rather than just one color. The application is top-notch! I'm using it at my makeup academy, and the color payoff is fantastic. I'm really enjoying all six shades! The only downside is the price, unfortunately. Other than that, I have no complaints! Make sure to choose the right brush when applying. It'll help you achieve an even more beautiful look!

Mixing and matching the shades creates beautiful looks, and they work great as eyeshadows too. The top row colors are perfect for daily wear, while the bottom row shades are more vibrant, so apply those with a light hand. There's nothing to complain about. Maybe just the wickedly high price? But considering you get six shades, it's forgivable. If you search on YouTube, you'll find a video of a NARS artist demonstrating how to use this palette. It's worth checking out for some great tips.
