Leaves skin feeling smooth and silky. No irritation, which is great. It's a solid, reliable product. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. It's just very ordinary and doesn't have any standout features. - hi******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 21, 2024
Neutrogena is a reliable cleanser. It cleanses well and has a mildly acidic pH. Not particularly effective for acne. It's a basic cleanser, and I'm not sure about its brightening effects. - ws*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 15, 2023
I have combination skin with very dry cheeks. This has always been my go-to product. Unfortunately, I stopped using it after the reformulation. Previously, it left my skin feeling thoroughly cleansed, but lately, I've been noticing occasional blemishes popping up. Using it with a bubble net creates a rich lather! I personally feel the need to cleanse twice to feel completely clean. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 6, 2023
The cleansing effectiveness was excellent. The scent was also pleasant, making it enjoyable to use. After about 2 days of use, I started developing blemishes that I had never experienced in my 26 years of life. I thought, 'Surely it can't be the foam cleanser,' but after the third day, I realized something was wrong and stopped using it. My skin recovered 3 days after discontinuing use. - qo*******Normal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedDec 30, 2022
My skin type: Super sensitive skin that reacts to even small environmental changes. Very fair complexion with a tendency for redness. Prone to blemishes when the environment changes or I'm tired. If I neglect hydration for just a few days, my skin barrier weakens, leading to dryness and sensitivity. I got this foam cleanser from my mom's place, and surprisingly, it suits my skin perfectly! I'm amazed. I've been using it for 3 weeks now, and it seems the surfactants don't irritate my sensitive skin. While it doesn't dramatically improve my skin, the fact that it maintains my skin's condition is enough to give it 4 stars. The packaging is convenient to use, the volume is generous, and the price is great. I wish they hadn't added fragrance. Although the scent isn't particularly bothersome, I don't think there's any benefit to adding fragrance to a rinse-off product. I'm using this as my second cleansing step! For the first step, I use a cleansing water, oil, or balm depending on my skin's condition. - lm*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedApr 7, 2022
A reliably good, gentle, low pH cleansing foam. For a low pH foam cleanser, it lathers quite well. After consistently using only this foam cleanser, my skin seems to be getting clearer, but I'm not entirely sure... It's hard to tell. It's great for morning cleansing when I wake up with oily skin - I always use a foam cleanser or cleansing gel then. It's also excellent for washing away the oily residue after oil cleansing. As it's a gentle, low pH cleansing foam, its cleansing effectiveness isn't particularly outstanding. - dm*********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 9, 2022
I've been using this cleansing foam for about 3 days now. I picked it up in a hurry at the supermarket when I ran out of my previous one. I used to use a low pH product, but it left my skin feeling too tight, so I deliberately chose something different. My skin is combination - oily in the T-zone and chin, but dry on the cheeks. I'm still young, so my skin is quite sensitive and reactive, making it hard to try new products. However, I haven't noticed any issues so far. My skin is prone to blemishes due to stress and mask-wearing, and I struggle with dead skin cells, enlarged pores around the nose, and blackheads. So, I use exfoliating and blackhead removal masks after cleansing. u27a1ufe0fI love how it creates a rich, creamy lather. u27a1ufe0fThere's no uncomfortable tightness or dryness after washing, which I absolutely hate. While my T-zone is oily, my cheeks are extremely dry and prone to flaking and cracking if there's even slight tightness. While I wouldn't say it's moisturizing, I appreciate the clean feeling without any tightness. u27a1ufe0fRegarding its cleansing effectiveness, I usually use foam cleanser alone to remove makeup. Since I use waterproof products, I can't really tell if it removes everything completely. I've tried using it after roughly removing makeup with cleansing water or wipes when I'm feeling lazy, and it seemed okay. But since I've mostly used it after removing most of my makeup, I can't say for sure how well it cleanses on its own. u27a1ufe0fI have a cool-toned complexion (shade 23) that tends to look dark, which makes it hard for cool-toned makeup to look good on me (warm-toned makeup looks odd too). People suggested that brightening my skin tone might help, so I'm using this product for its tone-up and brightening claims. I'm not using any other whitening or brightening products to see its true effects. After 3 days, I haven't noticed a big difference, but my complexion does seem a bit brighter. My skin looks lighter right after washing, but I know whitening effects take time, so I'll keep using it (I was also drawn to it being a brightening product). u27a1ufe0fI haven't experienced any blemishes or acne so far, but please note that this is just my personal experience. I can't say whether others might have breakouts or not, but it's been fine for me. It's been exactly a week of use as of Thursday, January 13, 2022. Please check the photos I've attached. My skin was red and had blemishes, but it hasn't gotten better or worse. However, my blemishes have improved a lot, but that might be because I'm using other products as well. I haven't really tried removing makeup with it yet, but since it's low pH, I suspect its cleansing power might be weaker compared to other products. Also, I'm a bit disappointed with the ingredients list. This isn't exactly a pro tip, but here's how I use it: 1. Cleanse with this product. 2. Remove excess water and exfoliate. 3. Rinse with water, then use a blackhead removal mask. 4. Rinse again and start skincare routine. (I wipe my face with toner on a cotton pad, then finish with a blemish emulsion or regular emulsion.) u27a1ufe0fThis routine might be worth trying for those with dead skin cells, blackheads, tightness after cleansing, combination skin (oily T-zone and dry cheeks), or those prone to blemishes. - w2********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 21, 2021
I felt like my face was thoroughly cleansed. After washing, I could feel that the oiliness on my face was gone. The scent wasn't too strong, just a subtle fragrance that I found pleasant. It seems to lather well, and personally, I didn't experience any increase in blemishes while using it. I recommend it! I have oily skin on my forehead and nose area, while other parts are a bit dry. I don't have many pimples, but I do have some blackheads! Personally, after using this, my skin felt squeaky clean but also dry. So, I think it's best to apply a hydrating toner or moisturizer after cleansing! While it cleansed really well, if I didn't apply anything after washing, my skin felt a bit tight. However, I did enjoy the nice smell and the feeling of a good cleanse. When using this product, I think it's a good idea to bring along a toner and emulsion. The dry feeling after cleansing was a bit unpleasant. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 16, 2021Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

Lately, it's been looking dull, which has been really stressing me out. When I first got this cleanser, I was immediately drawn to its scent - it's like a subtle lemon verbena or lemony herb fragrance, reminiscent of vitamins. The texture is a thick, white cream that transforms into a rich lather when mixed with water, making it incredibly smooth to apply. I was amazed! Most importantly, as someone with super sensitive skin, I was thrilled that it didn't cause any irritation. I'm usually very reactive to skincare products. I also noticed my complexion seemed a bit brighter, which is great since my skin tends to look dull from sun exposure. With its Vitamin B3 content, 99% cleansing effectiveness that reaches deep into the pores, and low pH suitable for sensitive skin, this cleanser hit all the right notes for me. Plus, it's non-comedogenic and dermatologist-tested for safety - a big thumbs up! It's paraben-free and contains amino acids similar to our skin's natural moisturizing factors, helping to maintain the skin's moisture barrier. Perhaps that's why my skin feels firmer and less prone to blemishes. With such skin-friendly ingredients, the after-feel is refreshingly clean yet moisturized and soft. I can't think of a better cleanser! Though it's my first time trying Neutrogena, I've learned they're not only cruelty-free but also working to reduce carbon dioxide emissions and plastic use - great for the environment! I'm considering trying their acne line next. The more I use this cleanser, the more I notice my skin tone improving, which makes me feel great. If you're struggling with uneven skin tone, I highly recommend giving this a try! I wish the lid was slightly bigger. It's a bit tricky to close and needs a few taps to seal properly. But the product inside is absolutely perfect - 100 out of 100! If you use a bit more water when lathering up the product, it creates even more foam. This way, you can thoroughly cleanse with just a small amount! - wo********Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 14, 2021Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

It doesn't leave my skin feeling too squeaky clean after washing, which I actually prefer! I could create fine, rich lather even without a foam net, just using my hands. Usually, I use a foaming device with cleansing foams, but with this product, I could work up a lather with just my hands! The fragrance is lovely! If you dislike chemical scents and prefer pleasant, floral-like aromas, you'll love this scent. Immediately after use, my face seemed to have a brighter glow? (This could be due to the skin temperature dropping.) As this is one of the product's main features, I'll post an update after a month of use! Not recommended for those sensitive to fragrances or perfumes! The scent is stronger than expected, so it might not be for everyone. It contains one pore-clogging ingredient, so those with sensitive skin should take note! For reference, I have super sensitive skin and started using it after first testing on my neck area with no allergic reaction. The texture is that of a typical cleansing foam that lathers up well and produces abundant foam!
