This is my personal favorite body product... If it suits your taste, you'll be absolutely enchanted! I first smelled it on someone on the bus and had to track it down. It's an amazing find! While the hydration might be a bit lacking for extremely dry skin, it should be fine for normal skin types. Unlike many scented body creams that skimp on moisture, this one is quite good. The fragrance lasts well, and if you pair it with the body mist, you'll be radiating scent all day! This product really divides opinion... People have extremely polarized reactions to it. Since fragrance is a matter of personal preference, I understand why some might find the initial scent overwhelming - I certainly did at first, but grew to like it. The crucial point to consider is the ingredients... There's a lot of discussion about the formulation. - au*****Combination SkinRecommendedFeb 26, 2024
The fragrance is powdery and lovely. The products from this brand generally have excellent hydration. It's quite difficult to find. I stock up when there's a sale through direct overseas purchases. It's expensive. I use the body wash, body emulsion, and mist in the same scent. When I use the body cream as a hand cream substitute, the fragrance lasts all day long. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedAug 21, 2023
The scent is so amazing that I use it even though I know the ingredients aren't the best. I'm usually super picky about ingredients, but I can't resist using this because the fragrance is just too good! As expected, the ingredients... They really don't seem great, unfortunately. Try layering it! There's also an emulsion, cream, and body mist in the same line. - ju******Normal SkinRecommendedOct 13, 2021
The lasting power and diffusion of the fragrance are truly excellent. I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys bedtime emulsions or white musk scents! The ingredients are really not good, I didn't realize they were this bad. It's also disappointing that you have to order it directly from overseas if you want to get it in Korea. - do*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 11, 2021
One of Bath & Body Works' signature scents. A cozy musk fragrance that's perfect for winter use. Well, since Bath & Body Works products focus mainly on fragrance, their moisturizing power is quite weak. The body cream is no exception. - mj****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinAug 24, 2020
This body cream was my companion in my early to mid-20s. It has a cozy fragrance that's perfect for winter. In summer, it might feel a bit heavy. The scent is long-lasting, permeating your pillows and clothes... so much so that you won't need perfume. I'm sorry I can't describe the fragrance better! But I can say it's definitely superior to those cheap scents you find in drugstores. Well... it's still my favorite fragrance. But I never dreamed the ingredients would be such garbage. The hydration isn't great... it doesn't last very long. It works well when mixed with a fragrance-free emulsion that's good for hydration. - ch*******Combination SkinRecommendedApr 2, 2019
The absolute best thing about this product is the scent! While many Bath & Body Works products are known for their strong fragrances, this one remains subtle and pleasant even after prolonged exposure (personal opinion). It's a musk scent that's delicate with an amazing lingering aroma. During extremely dry winter days, applying it to damp skin after a shower leaves you feeling moisturized! And in the end, your skin feels soft and smooth without any stickiness... it's amazing! The downside? Perhaps it's the fact that it's an imported product... and the cost that comes with that. It's only when I'm vacationing in the US that I can stock up on these at a much lower price compared to buying in Korea. I gratefully purchase them during the 3+2 promotions in the States. I use it year-round, even portioning some out as a hand cream (for the scent). When my skin feels dry outside, I apply it to my face too (it's moisturizing without being sticky). I'm currently on my fourth full-size bottle, and I have more stocked up at home! - hb****Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsFeb 20, 2019
This review is after using up the entire bottle. Due to childhood atopic dermatitis, my body skin is generally very dry. As I entered my late 20s, I also developed back and chest acne. This body cream is slightly richer than the Moonlight Path Body Emulsion, which would have been my holy grail if not for its ingredients. It provides powerful hydration, but lacks deep moisturization. As it contains more barrier-forming ingredients than the emulsion, it locks in moisture effectively. However, for extremely dry skin like mine, using this cream alone can lead to a situation where moisture evaporation is blocked on the surface, but there's not enough hydration underneath. So instead of using this alone, I applied an all-purpose toner on dry areas, let it absorb, and then followed with this cream. The lack of deep moisturization mentioned above is a drawback. For very dry skin, an emulsion might be better than this cream. The ingredients aren't much of an improvement over the emulsion. It's mainly composed of low-cost silicone oil and petrolatum. At this point, you might as well use Vaseline with a bit of fragrance added. There's a high chance of allergic reactions due to the abundance of potentially irritating ingredients. The formula also contains PEGs and parabens, which some prefer to avoid in skincare. Those with dry skin will need a separate product to address deep dehydration. In my case, I used an all-purpose toner. For oily skin types, the high content of barrier-forming ingredients might actually trigger blemishes. On the bright side, its pleasant scent and barrier-forming properties make it great as a hand cream. If you're particularly concerned about the ingredients, consider using it up quickly as a hand cream instead. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedJan 21, 2019
The fragrance is lovely and lingers until the next wash! Not even slightly hydrating. The moisturizing power is... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 21, 2018
When I go to the US, I stock up on this, and when I run out, I order it online. I always carry a small size with me. The body lotion has a subtle baby powder scent, and like most American products, the fragrance is quite strong. However, it's not overpowering like Lush products; instead, it leaves a gentle, lingering scent that everyone compliments. Being a cream, it feels richer than an emulsion. It's perfect for those who exfoliate frequently. I use it daily right after showering and have never experienced any blemishes. Everyone who touches my skin is amazed at how good it feels. I never reveal that my secret is twice-weekly exfoliation and this body cream! You'll need to order it from overseas as there aren't any stores in Korea yet. In US stores, they often have buy-two-get-one-free deals, so I stock up. However, the weight can be an issue. While the ingredients might not be perfect, I'm only sensitive to friction on my face and less reactive to chemical ingredients, so it works well for me. If you're sensitive to chemicals, carefully check the ingredients before choosing. I've been using it for years. It's eliminated the extreme dryness on my legs that used to make me scratch all winter long. Apply it all over your body immediately after showering. Don't forget your feet, including the soles!
