The color is a natural, brownish shade that applies well without being too intense or overwhelming. As someone who has also used BBIA products, I can say BBIA offers the best value for money. Honestly, while both this product and BBIA's have a similar feel and decent longevity, the price difference is nearly triple. I'd rather stick with BBIA. I tried this after a friend recommended it, and it's genuinely impressive. As someone with oily skin, I often use gel eyeliners because regular ones smudge easily. This one doesn't smudge much, and it absorbs well, making it a pleasure to use. There is some smudging in the morning and by evening. It applies smoothly and has great staying power. It doesn't smudge even in water. Despite having double eyelids, my eye makeup tends to smudge easily. However, I don't use liquid products. I prefer gel-type pencil formulas and have tried various ones, but this product seems to smudge the least. It has excellent longevity too. I have no intention of switching eyeliners and plan to keep using this product! Since it's a pencil type with a gel-like formula, there's a sharpener attached at the end to sharpen the product. However, it breaks very easily, even with the slightest impact. Because of this, you can't even put the cap on the back. This might be inconvenient for some users. I've tried both Deep Brown and Gold Brown, and I don't particularly seek out products without shimmer. That's why I prefer Gold Brown over Deep Brown. Deep Brown has no shimmer, so the formula is a bit harder and sets quickly. This means it sometimes doesn't apply smoothly. In contrast, Gold Brown has shimmer and a softer formula, so it applies very well - I've never had issues with application. My mom used Deep Brown while I used Gold Brown, but after accidentally using mine once, she now uses my eyeliner saying it applies better! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJan 18, 2017

It applies smoothly without smudging! There's no excess powder fallout, and it lasts a long time. The case is sturdy too, so it doesn't break or crack. As for the case, not the product inside... The lead inside breaks too easily. It snapped before I could even use it much... If you're careful not to break it, it's truly a holy grail product!

After using this, I've made a firm resolution: I'm only buying eyeshadows from Banila Co from now on! It breaks so easily, I could cry. And it smudges like crazy! The powder flies everywhere when it breaks... such a mess.

After 20 minutes? No, just 10 minutes, I'd look in the mirror and find it smeared under my eyes. I had to keep a cotton swab handy all the time. It's hard to control the amount, so I'll probably use it up quickly... I bought it with high hopes, but... sigh. I think I'll just stash it away somewhere. First off, it's super convenient because even with a light touch, it draws a rich brown line. It applies smoothly and doesn't smudge even after coming home from being out. Definitely a product I recommend! It may vary from person to person, but my friend mentioned that it can sometimes apply too darkly and clump up. Just something to keep in mind.
