It keeps my skin hydrated without any oiliness. The tea tree scent is refreshingly pleasant. While it doesn't leave my skin greasy, I feel like it doesn't provide as much hydration as I'd hoped for. This product seems to strike a balance between hydration and oil control, which is great for combination dehydrated skin. The tea tree fragrance not only smells nice but may also help with blemishes. However, if you're looking for intense moisture, you might find it lacking. It could be a good option for those who want a lighter hydration that absorbs well without leaving any sticky residue. - sh******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 29, 2025
I tried this product because their enzyme cleanser is so famous, and I thought the basic skincare line might be good too. There's a herbal scent, but I personally liked it. Rather than using it on very sensitive days, I rotate it weekly and find it works well for me. This product is quite gentle, so I use it frequently. It's a decent product overall. It's great to apply after your regular skincare routine before bed. If you feel your skin needs extra hydration, you can apply a thicker layer to those areas before sleeping. - mo******Dry SkinAcne SkinDark CirclesRecommendedJun 5, 2025
I'm not sure why, but could it be because of the tea tree? When I apply a thick layer on red, raised blemishes, it really helps calm them down! Usually even acne medication doesn't work well for me, but when I slather this on generously, the blemishes subside, which surprised me! It's a gel cream type, but it feels quite sticky when applied all over the face. I mostly use it like a spot treatment mask, applying it thickly only on areas with blemishes or that need soothing. I wouldn't recommend it as a regular moisturizer! For those with super sensitive skin or prone to blemishes, this product works hard as a targeted treatment. While it may not be ideal for all-over application due to its rich texture, it shines as a soothing spot treatment. The tea tree ingredient seems to be particularly effective in calming irritated areas and reducing redness. - dt******Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 29, 2025
The ingredients are gentle and help soothe the skin. I would repurchase this product. The downside is that, since I have extremely dry skin, I felt the dryness quite quickly. - wh*********Oily SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMay 3, 2025
I have combination dehydrated skin with atopic dermatitis. This product doesn't cause any burning sensation and has a nice cooling effect with just a slight tingle. It wasn't particularly uncomfortable. The texture is smooth and absorbs well into the skin. It leaves a slight film on the face, similar to aloe products, which is a bit bothersome. - ko****Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 17, 2025
I bought this soothing cream because I needed one, and it's great for calming my skin! Perfect for dry skin types, but only in summer! For those with dry skin, it can feel a bit dehydrating, so I recommend using it during the summer months. It's also good to use when your skin feels hot or inflamed. - li******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessRecommendedApr 3, 2025
I have sensitive, blemish-prone, extremely dry skin. This cream has a very light, watery texture like a hydrating moisturizer. Since it comes in a large size, I used it generously on my neck, back, and all over areas with blemishes and trouble spots. It absorbs really well. The cooling effect seemed to provide temporary soothing, but ultimately it didn't reduce my blemishes. After using this, my skin felt extremely dry. The deep dryness was so severe that I had to use another cream on top. I wouldn't recommend this for those with dry skin. - sa****Dehydrated SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 3, 2025
I've been using this cream after managing facial sebum or dead skin cells, or before and after eyebrow grooming. It quickly calms any irritation, which I really appreciate. Compared to other soothing creams, this one feels more like a hydrating moisturizer. It's a bit sticky, so my hair tends to cling to it! Because of this, I don't use it daily. Instead, I apply it generously when my skin needs some extra soothing. - he********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 3, 2025
Papa Recipe Tea Tree Control Soothing Cream comes in a convenient tube that's perfect for storing in the fridge. I loved using it as a cooling soothing gel. It's great to apply a thin layer before using a modeling mask or sheet mask to maximize the calming effect. As it contains tea tree, it was also effective for blemishes. While it's a soothing cream with a light finish, it leaves a sticky residue after absorption. I wouldn't recommend using it in the morning or before applying makeup. I recommend using it as a sleeping pack. - wj**********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityApr 3, 2025
This product was gentle and non-irritating. The tea tree ingredient seems to help soothe the skin. Even though I have dry skin, I dislike stickiness. Unfortunately, this product didn't absorb well and left my skin feeling dry in the morning.
