Isn't zollinone banned in cosmetics? It's the deadly ingredient from humidifier disinfectants. I'm shocked to see it in a product meant for the face. Zollinone... It used to be in preservatives and multi-level marketing shampoos. How could they put this in facial cosmetics? These days, even parabens are rarely used, but this Himalaya product still contains them? Not dry at all, keeps skin moisturized - Bouncy cream texture that absorbs well - Quickly absorbed by the skin - Leaves skin feeling completely matte - Contains some ingredients to be cautious about - Smells like 'mom's cosmetics'? The scent lingers for too long. When I apply this before bed, I wake up with deep hydration that lasts until morning, without any oiliness - it's amazing! There's a slight tingling sensation upon application, but it subsides quickly. I actually like it because it feels like my skin is regenerating! It's perfect as the final step in my routine for that extra boost of moisture. My sister tried it too and absolutely loved it! The fragrance is a bit strong, and since it's a cream you need to scoop out, it's disappointing that it doesn't come with a spatula. That's a bit of a hygiene concern. After applying it at night and getting a good night's sleep, I can see a noticeable improvement in my skin texture when I wake up.

While visiting Abu Dhabi, I couldn't resist popping into a shopping mall. A sales associate immediately approached me and started enthusiastically promoting Himalaya products. When they found out I was Korean, they exclaimed that Koreans were buying these products in droves, insisting it was an incredible deal. They sang praises exclusively for Himalaya. I decided to make a purchase, and upon using it, I noticed it has a lightweight texture. When I wake up in the morning after applying it, my face feels incredibly soft. Despite having super sensitive skin, I didn't experience any tingling or irritation. Overall, it seems to be a product with decent value for money. It would have been even better if it didn't contain potentially harmful ingredients. I needed a cream during my business trip to India, so I bought one nearby. I liked it so much that I bought a few more to use. It's so affordable when you buy it locally! I'm really pleased with it. It feels like a basic cream, perfect for light application. However, this is based on summer use... It feels a bit light for winter use. It's more of a summer cream, I'd say. It's good to layer with additional hydration. In winter, I just use it like an emulsion. Apparently, there are some questionable ingredients, but I didn't know when I bought it, so I'll let that slide. The fragrance is quite strong. For winter, you might want to add extra moisturizing products to your skincare routine. The cream works hard as a basic hydrator, but those with super sensitive skin or combination dehydrated skin might need to layer it with other products for deep hydration and to combat dryness. - h2***Dry SkinJan 26, 2019
I bought this product while abroad since it's not available in our country and it was quite affordable. I usually have skin that doesn't get blemishes even if I apply any cream carelessly, but this product and the Kiehl's moisturizer were so irritating that it almost brought tears to my eyes. Being somewhat indifferent by nature, it took me about a week to realize this product doesn't suit me. Firstly, it's extremely tingling. Even though I apply night cream generously, this one just sits on top of the skin. The cream clumps together and takes a long time to absorb. Above all, the intense tingling sensation is the biggest issue. The skin on my cheekbones feels like it's thinned out and become irritated. I've been struggling lately, using masks daily and trying to soothe my skin. I'm not sure if it's just me who doesn't match with this product, but after that experience, I was even scared to apply it on my body, so I ended up throwing it away.

It's supposed to make your skin feel silky, but for me it felt like the hydration was evaporating, leaving my skin dry. It's great for slathering on generously before bed, especially since my room tends to be dry at night. Knowing it has two potentially harmful ingredients makes me think twice... But then again, it's hard to find products with fewer than two such ingredients. Oh well! Living in India, I've been able to purchase this at a good price. I love how I can apply it liberally before bed and wake up without any dryness in the morning.
