- The best thing is there's no eye irritation since it's a mineral sunscreen! - The price is quite affordable for a sunscreen - I bought it after watching YouTube reviews, and despite being a mineral sunscreen, it doesn't leave a white cast. My makeup also applies fairly well over it! - There was a slight tingling sensation when applying - After purchasing, I watched a UV protection test video on YouTube, and it wasn't particularly outstanding! (Of course, the test wasn't scientifically rigorous, so it's not entirely accurate!) - Considering it's from Daiso, the quantity isn't enough to liberally apply all over your body Since it's a mineral sunscreen, it's great that you can apply it right before going out, not necessarily 30 minutes in advance! - ar***********Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 6, 2025
Even though I have combination skin, this doesn't cause blemishes, keeps my skin hydrated, and works great for me. I can't think of any downsides to write about - it's honestly that good! - vn*****Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 3, 2025
I've been using the same brand's sun serum with great results, and after receiving recommendations, I decided to try this product. First off, it's really worth it from a price perspective. However, mineral sunscreen is still mineral sunscreen. It's thick and leaves a white cast, so applying a lot isn't feasible. It also takes time to absorb, which means I don't reach for it when I'm in a hurry. If you're a fan of mineral sunscreens, this might be fine for you. But if you've never been interested in mineral sunscreens, you might be better off trying other products. - me********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRednessRecommendedJun 27, 2025
It's gentle enough for sensitive skin and leaves a fresh, matte finish - perfect for summer use! For combination dehydrated skin with dead skin cells, it might cause makeup to separate. I'd recommend this more for those with very oily skin! - ih*******Oily SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDead Skin CellsJun 25, 2025
★ Affordable price ★Decent sun protection ★Doesn't make skin oily and feels relatively matte compared to organic sunscreens, though it does leave a slight white cast due to being a mineral sunscreen. ☆The scent is truly awful. It might be described as a cotton fragrance... I'm not sure what kind of perfume they used. ☆Requires multiple cleansings to fully remove. Perhaps that's why it caused blemishes and made my skin texture significantly worse. Even applying it on my arms caused hives. After this review, it will never touch my skin again. However, considering the price, I can understand everything, so I'm giving it 3 stars... At this price point, we should probably just be grateful for the sun protection. Did you know? The recommended amount of sunscreen for one application is 1g, which is equivalent to two finger-lengths for an adult woman. If you're unsure if that's the right amount because your hands are small, you can use two lines of a large post-it note as a guide. I used a generous amount since I was planning to discard it anyway. - he***Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 23, 2025
Skin type: Sensitive, thin, dry skin [Advantages] 1. Natural brightening effect despite white cast When I first squeezed it onto the back of my hand, I was worried about the typical white mineral sunscreen texture. However, when applied to the face, it definitely brightens the complexion naturally without looking too ashy or floating on the skin. 2. Lightweight finish despite being a mineral sunscreen There's no stickiness, and the finish feels fresh, leaving a clean sensation. It doesn't make oil rise to the surface or sit on top of the skin, so it's not burdensome as a base before makeup. 3. Hydrating formula + moisturizing feel Moisturizing mineral sunscreens are rare, but this product kept me comfortable all day without any dryness. It applies smoothly like a cream, and the hydration lasts, so it doesn't pill even when applied directly over a moisturizer. [Room for improvement] 1. Not completely white cast-free Depending on your skin tone, there might be a slight whitish tint. Especially for those with darker complexions, it could make the face look lighter than the neck, creating a mismatch. I recommend applying thin layers gradually. 2. May be too rich for oily skin If you have oily skin or on days when sebum production is high, you might notice a slight oiliness developing over time. It might be good to use it with oil-absorbing sheets or powder. [Pro tips] - After applying sunscreen as the last step of skincare, wait about 3 minutes for it to absorb before starting makeup. This helps prevent pilling and allows makeup to adhere better. - On days when you have fewer blemishes, you can skip foundation and just use this product for a natural, polished look. It's great for daily makeup routines. - sa******Dry SkinRecommendedJun 17, 2025
I've been using this for about two weeks. The texture is quite rich. Despite that, I like how it doesn't clump and spreads easily on the face, even when applied by hand. It has a matte finish, which might feel a bit dry in winter, but it's perfect for summer. It doesn't irritate my eyes, and while there's a slight white cast when first applied, it quickly absorbs into the skin. In summer, I tend to go for a matte finish for my complexion. Usually, when I use this with my long-lasting foundation, I notice that by the afternoon my pores become more visible and my makeup starts to break down. It seems this product doesn't pair well with matte foundations. - xc*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 17, 2025
💟 Skin Type: Combination / Dehydrated / Blemish-prone / Sensitive 💟 Purchase Location: Daiso 💟 Usage Period: 1 week ❣️ Texture and Application The texture is a cream type, softer than typical mineral sunscreens. It glides on smoothly and absorbs quickly into the skin. After application, it leaves a non-sticky, powdery finish, making it perfect for morning routines. ❣️ Review It didn't pill under makeup, making it easy to use. Even after long exposure to sunlight, my skin didn't turn red or feel hot. There was minimal white cast, and the brightening effect looked natural, making it great for those new to mineral sunscreens. ❣️ Effectiveness The sun protection was noticeably effective. It creates a smooth base for makeup application. I experienced no skin irritation during use, making it comfortable to wear. ❣️ Pros Soft and fresh finish Minimal white cast for a mineral sunscreen Gentle enough for daily use without irritation ❣️ Cons The product runs out quickly due to its small size Occasionally, there might be a slight grittiness when applying ❣️ Usage Tips Apply thinly in this order: cheeks → forehead → nose → chin. Gently pat it in for absorption to avoid pilling and achieve a clean finish. For outings, decant some into a small travel container for convenience! - tw********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsJun 15, 2025
It absorbs smoothly, making application a breeze. The brightening effect is just right, giving a lovely transparent radiance. However, it seems my skin doesn't agree with it... There's a slight white cast, and it causes blemishes. Skin type: Dry, sensitive, blemish-prone Despite its pleasant application and subtle brightening effect, this product unfortunately didn't suit my sensitive skin. Those with similar skin types might want to patch test before full application. - yo****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 14, 2025
Among Daiso sunscreens, this one's the best. I love sunscreens with a slight white cast, and this one subtly brightens my complexion. It's perfect for going out bare-faced! It has the typical white cast of mineral sunscreens, so it's better to apply it in thin layers multiple times rather than slathering on a thick layer all at once.
