I've had to switch lip balms a lot due to allergic reactions, but this one didn't cause any issues! To be honest, the hydration isn't amazing, just okay. Since my lips tend to be dry, I need to apply it frequently. But the fact that it doesn't trigger any allergic reactions is a big plus for me... It's not great for applying at night before bed, and you need to reapply often for decent hydration, which is a bit disappointing. However, it's not bad overall, so it's still okay. For those with super sensitive skin or prone to allergic reactions, this lip balm could be a safe option. While it may not provide intense hydration, it's gentle enough for frequent use without causing irritation. I bought this lip balm at Olive Young when it was a top seller at the time. I purchased it in 2024 and used it a few times. I bought it in 2024 and used it less than 5 times. I applied it 3 times right after buying it in 2024, and this year I tried it twice more, thinking maybe it would be different now. But alas, it was still terrible. Far from keeping my lips moisturized, it briefly feels slick, but before I can even finish thinking "Is this hydrating?", it ends up emphasizing dead skin cells instead of providing any real moisture. The center contains a chamomile oil-like essence, while the outer part is a lip balm, but neither is particularly impressive.

I switched to B.plain after tossing my old lip balm because of its great ingredients! It's just as moisturizing as my previous one, but with better ingredients, so I'm really enjoying it! If you're looking for extremely intense hydration, you might want to try a different product! It's so hydrating and convenient that I carried it with me every day. I loved how it prevented dead skin cells from forming! There wasn't anything particularly disappointing about it. I'm using this for the first time after purchasing, and I love how there's an oil-like section in the middle that makes it extra moisturizing. When my lips get dry, not only do they crack, but the areas around them split too. Since this doesn't have any color, it's great for applying liberally around the mouth area as well. There's nothing I dislike about it. Once I finish this one, I'll definitely buy the same lip balm again.
