Glides on smoothly with a hydrating feel Naturally brightens complexion without caking or pilling Nothing, it's perfect! Those seeking more coverage might find the brightening effect subtle - he********Oily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 16, 2025
It covers pores well, making them appear less noticeable. The ingredients are gentle on the skin. The texture is thick and feels heavy. The application isn't particularly smooth. You need to spread it thinly for it to absorb well into the skin, otherwise it can look pale and mask-like. When you apply foundation over it, it tends to pill and separate. For best results, use a small amount and blend thoroughly. Consider using a damp beauty sponge for a more even application. - r7****Combination SkinRecommendedJul 16, 2025
The brightening effect is excellent, and I love the matte texture. The white cast is quite noticeable, which makes it feel like it's clogging my pores. It also tends to apply less smoothly. This product seems to be a brightening moisturizer or foundation with a matte finish. While it offers great whitening results, the application might be a bit challenging due to its texture and potential to leave a white residue. - ha******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 14, 2025
It brightens up your complexion with a lovely purple hue, giving you a radiant look. The formula is hydrating yet non-greasy, making it perfect for light application even in summer. Not recommended for those seeking more substantial coverage rather than a subtle brightening effect. - lo****Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 13, 2025
It's gentle and helps control sebum production. However, don't expect too much in terms of brightening effects. The brightening effect was a bit disappointing. There's not much else to say about it. The review suggests that while the product is mild and effective for oil control, its brightening capabilities may not meet expectations. The user seems to find the product's performance in skin tone improvement less satisfactory than anticipated. - le*********Normal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJul 13, 2025
Texture: 4/5 Color payoff: 4/5 Scent: 4/5 White cast: 4/5 Skin appearance: 4/5 The texture is typical for a sunscreen. For a brightening moisturizer, it's quite decent. The color is great. It naturally brightens the skin while effectively neutralizing redness and dullness. The scent is nearly fragrance-free. There's a slight hint of what might be an alcohol-like smell. There's a bit of a white cast. For a brightening moisturizer, it's reasonably good. The skin appearance is satisfactory. There's a slight tendency to spread unevenly, but overall it's good. The small quantity is somewhat disappointing. It feels slightly oily yet somewhat matte. Because of this, if you don't properly hydrate in your skincare routine, you might experience some deep dryness. If you apply too much, it can pill and flake off like dead skin cells. - ki******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 13, 2025
It's a perfect match for my complexion and makes my face look flawless. Even without makeup, it gives a clean appearance. It's great as a primer substitute too, as it covers pores and imperfections! I highly recommend it since it doesn't cause any blemishes. No real downsides. However, when applying makeup, avoid using matte powder or foundation after this product. It may cause pilling. - no***Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 13, 2025
It applies smoothly without looking excessively white or cakey, and provides a nice brightening effect. Nothing particularly bad. It might feel a bit dry after some time. - uf*******Oily SkinAcne SkinJul 8, 2025
Skin type: While my skin appears oily and congested to the naked eye, it's actually combination dehydrated skin lacking moisture. My skin texture deteriorated and pores enlarged due to neglect during military service. I have sensitive skin from occasional laser treatments. With slight redness and occasional blemishes, it's typically problematic skin that's difficult to manage. Quick take: The hybrid sunscreen applies smoothly with natural brightening, but what about that rich feeling... Pros: As combination dehydrated skin leans oily, excess sebum tends to linger on the surface. I'm always pondering how to minimize oiliness when choosing sunscreen. This usually leads to considering mineral sunscreens or hybrid formulas with less oil. My go-to Torien tone-up sunscreen is mineral-based with low oil and decent brightening, but it lacks smooth application. While searching for a good alternative, I was impressed by B-PLAIN's overall skincare line and decided to try their sunscreen. Unfortunately, it didn't work out... It's far too rich. The application is nice and it provides appropriate brightening, but it's just too oily. If the richness helped naturally fill in pores, it might be usable, but... sadly, I don't feel that effect. The combination of oiliness and insufficient pore-filling means I'll likely only use it on my neck, or if I do apply it to my face, I'll finish with a matte sun cushion. For those with minimal pores who enjoy a dewy complexion, this could be an excellent choice for a foundation-free sunscreen. However, I'd advise against it for skin types like mine. It feels too rich and doesn't seem to effectively fill in pores. If you like the brightening effect or application and decide to use it, finishing with a matte sun cushion might be a good solution. - mi*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRednessRecommendedJul 7, 2025
The brightening moisturizer works wonders, and I love how it applies so smoothly and thinly. The packaging is absolutely adorable. It feels a bit sticky at first, but quickly becomes powdery soft. I didn't find any particular downsides while using this product. I never experienced any blemishes because of it.
