My skin type is combination dehydrated, and this product's water-like texture absorbs moisture really well. It prevents deep dryness, and after application, it has a slight serum-like consistency that eliminates surface dryness too! Highly recommended for combination dehydrated skin! I don't think there's anything particularly disappointing about this product! I didn't experience any blemishes while using it, and it seems quite gentle. However, it might not be suitable for those with oily skin during the summer months. I tend to have severe deep dryness, which always made my dead skin cells noticeable when applying makeup. But if I layer this product about 3 times before putting on makeup, my skin becomes perfectly prepped for flawless makeup application. It works hard for your skin! - ka******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJul 12, 2025
My husband always resists using skincare products, but I finally convinced him to at least use a toner. Unlike other toners that leave dry patches looking white, this one keeps his skin nicely hydrated without any chalky residue! I previously used the Isoi Moisture Dr. Toner (also known as the Jang Soo Jin toner). This one is less hydrating but feels lighter and more refreshing. It's more moisturizing than the Torriden Dive-In Toner though! There's not really anything I dislike about it. If I had to nitpick, I'd say I expected it to be even more hydrating than it is. For dry skin, pat it in with your hands. For oily or pore-prone skin, gently sweep it across with a cotton pad! - hr******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 12, 2025
This toner has a slightly viscous texture. I'm using it well as both a toner and an essence. I have sensitive skin, but I'm using this without any blemishes. - pa***********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsMay 4, 2025
I have combination dehydrated skin that's closer to oily in summer and dry in winter, with super sensitive, acne-prone skin. I bought this product because I needed a toner, something soothing, and it seemed like good value for money. But let me tell you upfront, it's not great... This product might be okay for winter use, but it's spring now and summer is coming soon when we'll be sweating buckets. It feels too heavy. It's also very sticky when applying and after, both on the skin and hands. I don't like sticky products, so I had to wash my hands and face again and reapply with a different product. Although it's marketed as soothing, I didn't really see any calming effects. I have very sensitive, acne-prone skin, and when I had a bad breakout, it felt like it was actually irritating my skin more. I thought maybe it was just the toner, so I tried the toner pads that came as a free sample, but it seems this brand's products are just heavy and sticky in general. They don't seem to suit me well... I needed a toner urgently and spent days considering this purchase, so I'm disappointed it didn't meet my expectations. It feels too wasteful to just not use it, so I've been adding it to my modeling masks instead of water, which seems to work a bit better! I'll be buying a different toner next time... - ca*****Normal SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 29, 2025
It's slightly more hydrating than regular toners, so I used it when I wanted to skip essence. I love that it has a subtle scent and absorbs well into the skin. For those with dry skin, I recommend using this with an emulsion only when applying makeup. At night, it can be a bit drying, so it's better to use an oil or essence instead. - yg*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 1, 2025
As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I love applying lots of toner. It's great that this comes in a large size. Even with my atopic skin, I can use this without much irritation. There's really nothing to complain about. - gr**Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedFeb 2, 2025
It has a typical water-based toner formula and works well as an exfoliating toner. Even with my sensitive skin, I was able to use up the entire bottle without any blemishes. I didn't find any major drawbacks. If you're looking for a toner you can use liberally without worry, this seems like a good option. - ak********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 7, 2025
I tend to use a lot of toner, and this product offers excellent value for money. I've replaced the cap with a mist spray top, which makes it super convenient to use. I keep it in the bathroom and spritz it on right after cleansing. It's not too lightweight, so it provides deep hydration without any skin tightness. My skin feels incredibly moisturized. I'm really loving it! I didn't have any blemishes, and since it's winter, I needed a hydrating toner. I think I made a good choice with this one. Switching to a mist spray top makes it so easy to apply to my face! - cu********Combination SkinSensitive SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 22, 2024
Hydration: Unlike most toners with cica ingredients that tend to be light and watery, this one feels oily, making it perfect for winter use. Gentle: I was worried about blemishes due to the rich feel, but thankfully it didn't cause any. The oil and moisture balance seems to suit my skin well. Affordable: I bought two bottles for less than $10 on sale, so I'm using it generously. Texture: It feels both hydrating and rich, but it's not a slimy texture. It's a water-based toner, making it versatile for toner packs and as an exfoliating toner. Scent: It has a fresh, herbal cica scent that I personally enjoy. Samples: They included many samples from other lines. I've been trying them one by one, and they all suit my skin, which makes me very happy. As someone with super sensitive skin, I'm grateful they allow us to test other products while offering affordable prices. Not recommended for oily skin types or summer use due to its richness. The brand lacks promotion, which is a shame because their products are quite good. I hope more people like me can try it on sale and spread the word. Next time, I might try their other toners and pads besides the cica line. If you see it on sale and the ingredients don't conflict with your skin, give it a try! I've tried all the samples in the photo except the sunscreen. None of them caused any tingling, and they're all good. The cream was particularly interesting - after applying, the inside feels super hydrated, but the surface feels slightly powdery without any slipperiness. It's not even a foundation, which is surprising... So I'm not sure how it would work with foundation, but it's definitely good enough as a night cream. - rl*********Combination SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedDec 3, 2024
This toner has a watery texture that feels light yet deeply nourishing like an essence. It has a subtle cica scent. The quick absorption is a major plus, providing instant soothing and hydration. There's no stickiness, leaving your skin feeling smooth. After use, my skin felt replenished with moisture, and even my redness subsided! The scent might be polarizing for some people. Great for toner masking!
