sh******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJan 11, 2023I was happy to try this famous product. It's less matte and doesn't look like 'Hey, I'm wearing makeup!' It blends seamlessly with the skin. It's moisturizing but has no coverage, which makes it look natural. I knew this when I bought it. It's literally less matte with no coverage, feeling like I've just applied a slightly brightening moisturizer. Perhaps this foundation is for those with flawless skin? Considering the price, it's a bit disappointing.

While the coverage isn't high, it's great for achieving a natural makeup look. You can enhance its performance by mixing it with other products for a more complete finish. The coverage is quite minimal, so you'll need to use additional products to conceal any blemishes.

I loved the subtle, herbal-like scent. Bobbi Brown really seems to be a brand optimized for dry skin. If you typically use shades 21-22, I recommend trying the Warm Ivory. There weren't many downsides to speak of. Well... those with oily skin should probably avoid this. I applied it with a makeup brush and then gently patted it with a dry beauty sponge (don't wet it!) for the finishing touch. It absorbs well with a light feel, which I really like. It's a product I use regularly! It seems good for light coverage, but the staying power doesn't seem to last very long.

You might think that if it's hydrating, it wouldn't last long, but I was surprised to find that even after going out and returning home in the evening, my skin still felt smooth and maintained. As you're nearing the end of the product, the dropper bottle can feel a bit inconvenient. Personally, I prefer a dewy, glowing complexion over heavy coverage, and this product delivers exactly that! Understandably, it's not a product you should expect high coverage from.

While it provides a luminous glow and feels very hydrating, it can cause some darkening of the skin. When used alone, it tends to fade back to your original skin tone within a couple of hours. For best results, mix it with a light-colored, matte foundation. Absorbs well and applies thinly. Since it's not really about coverage but more for skin enhancement, a little goes a long way, making it last longer. It gives a beautiful complexion. I just wish my skin had a bit more of a yellow undertone to match it perfectly. It has an olive undertone. It was recommended for 21N, but seems more yellow (even for my light undertone 21 shade, The Hwahae Testers suggested it might be a bit dark for contouring). Moreover, it's much darker than the similar shade of the Extra Light cushion that came as a gratis. The staying power isn't great either. If you accidentally press the pump when closing the lid, the product easily comes out and makes a mess. It's moisturizing and gives a natural glow. I have combination dehydrated skin that's prone to blemishes, but I'm really satisfied with this. If you want your skin to look great, I highly recommend this foundation. Since it's a hydrating type with serum, those looking for high-coverage might find it a bit lacking. However, even though some imperfections may show through, I'm happy with it because I wanted a beautiful skin texture more than perfect coverage. I use about half to one pump, applying it with my fingers by gently pressing and patting it into my skin. While a brush works well too, I prefer using my hands for hygiene reasons. If you don't use too much product, it adheres well without any pilling.
