I tried this because it's so popular. I like the scent and how it absorbs. It has a refreshing fragrance and applies smoothly. I think my complexion might have brightened a bit... I'm not sure if I'll repurchase though. It doesn't seem to have any dramatic effects. It doesn't cause any blemishes, keeps my combination dehydrated skin in check, and has significantly improved my skin texture For some reason, I noticed my complexion has become much darker

When used as a base, it softens and refines the skin. It's wonderfully hydrating, perfect for dry skin, and has a pleasant scent reminiscent of vitamin supplements. While it's good, the price might be a bit steep for regular use... The rich, creamy texture feels deeply moisturizing and applies smoothly. It's great to use before makeup and also perfect for applying before bed. The relaxing scent helps you unwind as you sleep. I've gone through several jars of this, and first off, I love the refreshing scent. Even with my sensitive skin, it works well for me. It's slightly on the oily side, and you have to use a spatula to scoop it out, which can be a bit of a hassle. Lovely scent and a rich texture that spreads smoothly. The bottle is beautiful - glass, so it looks elegant. For dry skin, even after applying essence, it still leaves deep dryness. Even as a makeup base, it's not hydrating enough. Lacks sufficient moisture unless it's midsummer. You might need to use a spatula to maintain hygiene. When applied before morning makeup, it lasts long without any patchiness. Despite its butter-like texture, it absorbs smoothly into the skin. Apart from the high price point, I didn't find any particular drawbacks. Applying a thin layer on your face before makeup helps your makeup last longer.
