The product truly lives up to its shimmery name with its ultra-fine particles that each sparkle beautifully Unfortunately, it lacks staying power. As you can see in the photo, I had to reattach the fallen product upside down - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJun 29, 2020
I love the subtle and luxurious pearl effect. It's great that you can adjust the colors yourself. I mainly used the apricot and gold shades as a highlighter, and the subtle glow made my complexion look so good that I received many compliments. It seems to crumble easily. I think it would be better if it came with a built-in flat square brush. When applied with a highlighter brush, the pearls don't clump together but scatter on the skin, creating a less intense and more natural-looking glow. - jk*****Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 16, 2020
First off, the color isn't too intense. When applied, it's not overpowering but pleasantly bright with a subtle shimmer. The large mirror covering the entire case is a great feature. Unlike many other products, there's noticeably less powder fallout when closing the case after use, keeping things cleaner. Not recommended for those seeking bold pigmentation, though it works fine with a puff or fingers instead of a brush. The bottom part seems to have weak adhesive, coming loose after minimal use and feeling a bit wobbly. I'm anxious about it breaking if I carry it around, so I only use it at home. The case quality seems a bit flimsy for the price. - yc****Combination SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 17, 2019
It's great for travel. Though it's called a highlighter, I use the pink part as a blush and the overall product (keeping in mind it's a bit sparkly) as a setting powder. I usually use Guerlain Meteorites pearls as my setting powder, which gives a more subtle, luxurious look. However, Bobbi Brown seems to make your skin look better in photos. The downside is that it's quite shimmery, but that's probably expected since it's primarily a highlighter. Another issue is that it can feel a bit heavy on the skin. The particles seem coarser compared to typical setting powders. Still, it's a decent all-in-one product for travel, serving as a blush, setting powder, and highlighter. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 30, 2019
The color is absolutely gorgeous! I'm quite the blush collector, and I feel like I've made a great purchase this time. It's just so beautiful! There's nothing really bad about it! However... since it has shimmer, it might make your face look a bit too sparkly? - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 9, 2019
I really love how subtle this is! It lasts a long time and applies smoothly and gently. I'm quite pleased with it. It's lovely and I can't think of any downsides. - oi*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 2, 2019
I've been using this product since I started wearing makeup regularly at 20. The color payoff isn't too intense, making it perfect for makeup beginners. It gives a natural, not overdone look. When it comes to this eyeshadow, I can't compromise on price. Cheaper products often have a certain tackiness, but this one doesn't. When applied, it gives a subtle yet sophisticated look. In that respect, Bobbi Brown is unbeatable. The case is flimsy for the price (as is common with many European products). If you drop it, it's game over. There's significant excess powder fallout and it's prone to crumbling, so it's best to use this at home only. - xy****Dry SkinRecommendedMar 26, 2019
I love that I can do my eye makeup and blush all at once with this one product! The powder doesn't have much excess and the color is a subtle, lovely pink. The shimmer seems a bit excessive. I'm using it more as an eyeshadow than a blush. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedJul 9, 2018
This product features a pearlescent finish that gives a dewy look. The large surface area makes it easy to apply and get good color payoff. As you use it, the product tends to absorb some oil, which can lead to a bit of caking. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinDec 2, 2017
I bought this after seeing Jaekyung use it on YouTube! Rather than as a blush, I'm using it really well as an eyeshadow! The scent is overwhelmingly strong for a cosmetic product, unfortunately. Use your finger to blend the six colors together, then dab it onto your eyelids (Jaekyung's method)!
