This is my holy grail eyeshadow!!! I originally went to buy MAC's Soba, but it was yellower than expected. I tried Wedge and decided to buy it instead. Now everyone thinks I've had my makeup done professionally! The color payoff has a slight reddish tint, but it's subdued, so my eyes don't look puffy!! How should I describe it... like a sophisticated coffee bean color? Usually, pink eyeshadows make my eyelids look red :( It seems perfect for cool-toned folks like me! I'm definitely going back to repurchase~ The price is quite steep :( But it has that high-end look you can't find in drugstore brands, so I just have to buy it despite the cost :( Apply a base shadow on the eyelid, use Wedge as a point color, and add a pink shadow to the aegyo-sal (under-eye area) for that professional makeup look! - js******Oily SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 23, 2024
1. A versatile brown shade without much redness 2. Great color payoff 3. Minimal excess powder and smooth application It's just a decent, basic eyeshadow that I use regularly for contouring - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 12, 2023
The best eyeshadow purchase ever. If you're cool-toned and looking for a contour shadow, this is the first one I'd recommend. It's a radiant cocoa brown contour shadow. It's never dull or dark, but rather a shade that brightens your eyes and makes them appear larger with a sense of stability. Highly, highly recommended! There's nothing to dislike about it, and I absolutely want to recommend it to cool-toned individuals. If you already have MAC Wedge and Bobbi Brown Bone & Mahogany, I wholeheartedly suggest adding this to your collection. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 22, 2023
It's a perfect match for cool-toned skin. I couldn't find a better shade for contouring. The price is steep. After using one container for a few years and switching to a new one, I feel like the color might have changed slightly...? - ro*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJul 29, 2023
This shade is perfect for creating depth and dimension in eye makeup. As a warm-toned person, I found it ideal for muted, less yellow-toned shadow looks, basic contouring, or even as a subtle bronzer. It's a perfect match! While it might feel a bit heavy when used alone, it's fantastic if you prefer colors without yellow undertones. The pigmentation is also excellent. Due to its high pigmentation, you need to blend it well. Also, make sure your base isn't too dewy for the best application. - io*****Normal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 5, 2022
I switched from Soft Brown to this item because I wanted to try a brown eyeshadow without any redness! It has almost no red or yellow undertones, making it perfect for creating shadow effects on areas like the bridge of the nose. While the color payoff isn't particularly intense, that's actually a good thing. It allows for subtle shading without going overboard. Instead of trying to get full pigmentation in one go, I'd recommend layering it with a brush. This way, you can gradually build up the intensity while keeping it natural-looking! Since it's almost free of red undertones, it's suitable for cool-toned skin types without any issues. Warm-toned folks can also use it effectively for creating shadow effects and contouring. Some might find the color payoff a bit too sheer for their liking. Ideal for creating shadow effects on the bridge of the nose. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedJun 20, 2022
If you have puffy eyelids and warm undertones, I highly recommend using this right away. It's absolutely perfect for swollen-looking eyes... Truly the most satisfying eyeshadow color I've ever purchased. There's hardly any excess powder, and it applies beautifully with great color payoff. The price is a bit high, and the quantity is somewhat small. To be honest, there are hardly any real drawbacks. It works great as a base for your eye makeup, perfect to apply first. - ov*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 7, 2022
Back in the day, when it came to MAC eyeshadows, 'Soba' was the go-to. But for a cool-toned person like me, it was too yellow. So, on the employee's recommendation, I bought 'Wedge'. Wedge has this brown+gray vibe without the yellow undertones, making it perfect as a basic contour shade that I've used all over! It has minimal excess powder, the color payoff is natural, and it's so versatile - whether you use your fingers or a brush. I've used it for ages because it's just so easy to work with! Back when only yellowish and reddish contour shades were available, I even used Wedge for contouring, haha! Nothing really! I take it with me on every trip, and the case is so sturdy that it hasn't gotten damaged at all. - sm**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedMar 3, 2022
Color: It's a cocoa milk shade with a slight reddish tint. It's similar in tone to Omega, but with a bit more vitality. It's a beautiful color that can be evenly applied to the eyelids for a natural look. Ingredients: Contains talc. MAC is famous for its eyeshadows, but the ingredients aren't the best. Due to the ingredients, I won't be repurchasing. These days, there are many products with better formulations available. Photos: 1. Top row, right side of the case. 2. Third from the right. 3. Third from the top. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 8, 2021
I was torn between this and that famous Soba one, but I'm so glad I chose this! The color payoff and how it applies are both fantastic. I feel like I made the right choice. My complexion is often described as better suited for charcoal grays than pinks (I'm guessing I'm a deep winter cool tone), but this works wonderfully for creating subtle shadows and dimension. There's nothing particularly bad about it. If I had to nitpick, I'd say the price point isn't the most accessible.
