This isn't from the matte line, but the moisturizing one! I've been struggling to figure out if I'm warm-toned or cool-toned, so I hadn't found my perfect lip color until now. But when I met this product, I finally realized - I'm cool-toned! It has a hint of plum, and on the day I switched to this lip color, everyone noticed something different about me. They complimented me, saying the lip color really suits me well! If I had to pick something, maybe the price? But since it's not from the matte line, it doesn't cling to the lips as much, which isn't bad at all! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedJan 27, 2021
Perfect for cool undertones This cool pink shade looks like a few drops of red were added - it's ideal for those with cool undertones! Apply it heavily for a pink-red effect, or lightly for a true pink look. It's perfect for those with genuine light undertones without any hint of warmth. Smooth application Despite my dry skin with fine lines, this moisturizing lip product doesn't emphasize wrinkles much. It glides on more smoothly compared to other MAC lines, feeling almost effortless to apply! Caution regarding ingredients The ingredient list is quite concerning... While it works fine for me as I don't have sensitive skin, those with super sensitive skin might want to avoid purchasing this. - ye*******Combination SkinAtopic SkinNov 6, 2020
It seems to be a cool-toned color, a slightly vibrant bluish-red. The texture is moisturizing and absorbs well. The shade is truly beautiful! The staying power isn't particularly impressive. While some color remains, it's not the same as when first applied. You need to reapply frequently. When wearing a mask, it smudges completely. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedApr 13, 2020
I was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly it absorbs. It's not matte and sinks into the skin nicely. I didn't like that the pink tint lingered for too long. I was hoping it would only leave a red tint. - rl*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 26, 2020
Great for those with light undertones. It has a similar feel to Mamonde's Glide Red Vibe. I love that the staining and color payoff are the same (first color on the left column). The ingredients, oh the ingredients... And that signature MAC chocolate scent is a bit much. For cool-toned ladies, try the gradient technique. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 13, 2020
This is a product I use without worrying too much about the state of my lip's dead skin cells! It's quite moisturizing, and I've never felt like my lips were in bad condition after applying it. I was torn between 'Give Me Fever' and another color... I kind of regret the color choice. It's too vibrant, so if you don't control the amount well, it can look a bit immature. - ti*****Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedJan 10, 2020
The packaging is absolutely stunning! Personally, I never found MAC lipsticks or tints particularly attractive, but this Love Me lipstick is truly breathtaking. It's so beautiful that it makes you want to collect every single shade! The color is a perfect blend for cool tones - about 70% pink and 30% red. It's too pink to be called a true red, yet too red to be a pure pink. It's not a fuchsia pink either, but rather a delicate, soft pink. While it's designed for cool tones, warm-toned individuals with light spring or clear spring complexions could also rock this lipstick beautifully by adjusting the intensity and using gradient techniques. Despite being a moisturizing lipstick, it has a sheer feel, allowing you to control the amount for a gorgeous bare-faced look. The ingredients... What's going on with them? For a recently launched moisturizing lipstick, I didn't notice anything special. It feels just like the old moisturizing lipsticks we're used to. And to top it off, the ingredients aren't even skin-friendly! That's definitely a point off. Also, the adherence and longevity are just average for a lipstick. The overall experience was underwhelming compared to its beautiful packaging. Personally, I find the feel of this lipstick quite similar to some Revlon lipsticks I own. If you've found a similar shade in the Revlon line, you might as well go for that instead. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedDec 17, 2019
I'm absolutely smitten with this gorgeous color and its incredible moisture! I've been searching for a hydrating bullet lipstick since so many MAC lipsticks are matte, and I finally found this little gem. It's simply amazing! There's nothing particularly bad about it. However, if you're like me and dislike chocolate-scented lipsticks or tints, you might find the fragrance a bit off-putting. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedNov 18, 2019
It's moisturizing, so it didn't emphasize dead skin cells. The slight light pink tint made my face look even more radiant. The lip color seems to suit cool tones much better than warm tones. - do*********Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsNov 14, 2019
This is the most hydrating product among all the MAC lipsticks I've tried so far. Unlike other MAC products, it doesn't emphasize dead skin cells as much. When I apply it lightly just on the inner part of my lips for a natural look, it gives a lively appearance. What I love most about it is the packaging. While MAC lipsticks have always been known for their black bullet design, this one has a truly stylish and well-thought-out aesthetic. The red wasn't quite what I expected. I thought it would be a clear red, but it has more of a cool pink undertone than I anticipated, which doesn't suit my warm complexion very well. In photos, it does appear as a clear red, but I wouldn't particularly recommend it to those with warm skin tones. It gives off a slightly mature vibe...
