After finishing shade 2, which was more of an orange-red, I decided to try shade 1 for a slightly pink-red tone. As expected, it stains quickly and doesn't transfer, making it very convenient to use. The rapid staining makes it difficult to correct any mistakes! If you have dry lips, I recommend applying lip balm before using this product. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 26, 2021
Oh my goodness... It works so well! Cool-toned and summer cool-toned folks, stock up on this! When my lips aren't in the best condition, it really emphasizes the dead skin cells - sd*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedJul 12, 2021
I bought this because I heard it has strong pigmentation, perfect for these mask-wearing times. Plus, it was on a buy-one-get-one-free deal! Why did I even buy this? It's so hard to apply evenly and the color is way too intense. Only purchase if you're confident in your ability to apply it smoothly. - sm*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesRecommendedMay 10, 2021
Works great for cool-toned skin, making my face look bright. It's a cherry pink-red with a slightly fluorescent pink tint. The staying power is amazing - it doesn't come off even after eating and lasts all day. There's hardly any transfer, unlike the Velvet Tint which has good longevity but tends to smudge. After using thick velvet tints for a while, it's refreshing to use a water tint again. It looks natural and innocent when applied with light makeup. Especially on bare skin, velvet tints can look odd, but water tints are perfect. As a beauty junkie, I loved this so much that even though I already have 10 tints at home, I bought 3 more during Missha's sale. It stains quickly, so you need to blend it fast. Layering isn't too difficult, but because it sets quickly, it can sometimes stain unevenly in unintended areas. The strong staining makes it hard to remove, but that's what I wanted, so it's fine. Just need to pay attention when cleansing. Being a water tint, it can be drying, but it's more of a natural lip feel rather than a parched, flaking, or dead skin cells kind of dry. Still, applying lip balm helps. Unlike velvet tints, it doesn't apply thickly, so it won't make your lips look plump. However, the thin application can actually feel more comfortable on dry lips. The stain tends to remain patchy, mainly on the inner part of the lips. + Staining and longevity vary by shade. LaLa Bam is a coral pink that suits both warm and cool tones, looks natural on bare skin, but doesn't last long. It disappears quickly after eating, though it's pretty. Flare Jeans is a muted red. Despite being a deep, rich red, it surprisingly doesn't last as long as expected. It almost disappears after eating and doesn't leave much of a stain. Rhythm Boss is a purplish red. Better used mixed with Flare Jeans than alone. It lasts a bit longer than Flare as it's darker. Haven't used it for long, but from the few times I've tried, the longevity seems good. Bought 3 more, but it's below expectations. Roller Arcade seemed to have the best staying power. For longevity: Roller, Rhythm Boss / For naturally pretty colors: LaLa Bam, Flare Jeans. If you don't eat many oily foods, the stain lasts decently - I'd say medium to high longevity. Recommended for those who want longevity and no transfer. Keep in mind it will fade somewhat when eating... Not recommended if you're looking for something easy to remove. - ls*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 2, 2020
Once it dries, it barely transfers even when rubbed with fingers. It stays put even after using makeup remover. It's convenient because one application lasts for hours without needing to reapply. I only use this these days since it doesn't smudge on masks. Every time I apply this tint, I get blemishes like small blisters around my lips. You need to use oil to remove it completely. - gk**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 23, 2020
This red-pink shade claims to suit all skin tones, but it might be especially flattering on cool undertones. It's more of a red-leaning pink than a pink-leaning red. When applied lightly, it appears as a pink-red, but when layered, it transforms into a vibrant red-pink. After setting, it doesn't transfer and has excellent staying power. The only downside is that it can feel a bit drying on the lips. Here's a tip: When applying directly from the applicator, be careful with the amount, as the color can be quite intense. If you want a lighter application, it's crucial to control the quantity at the opening. Alternatively, use a lip brush or cotton swab to pick up small amounts for a softer, prettier look. - by*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 25, 2020
I used to be a tint nomad, but ever since I tried this one, it's the only lip tint I've been using. I stumbled upon it during a 1+1 sale and decided to give it a shot. Now I'm completely smitten! Usually, I don't even glance at matte tints, but after testing this one, I was so impressed that I bought it in multiple shades. It applies like a liquid water tint at first, but after about 3 seconds, it adheres to your lips, creating a matte stain. The best part? There's no dryness or tightness, and it feels incredibly lightweight and thin on the lips, all while having excellent staying power. The colors are vibrant and perfect for summer, offering so many beautiful options that it's hard for those with bright complexions to choose which one to buy first. I even purchased backups because I know I'll want to use it again once I finish my current one! It seems to dissolve a bit when drinking water. You might notice a slight transfer of the tint... But aside from that, I can't think of any other downsides. - ha*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 19, 2020
I snagged this product during a 2-for-1 deal at my go-to store for just 12,000 won - what a steal! It's my second time trying the Dear Tint Matte Tattoo, and this time I went for the 'High Tension' shade. I was intrigued by claims of it being a non-transferring tint, and I must say, it lives up to the hype! While it's not 100% transfer-proof, it barely budges. It doesn't even stain my mask - a major win! As for staying power, it might vary depending on your skin type, but I'd say it lasts a good 8 hours? Don't be fooled by the 'tattoo tint' label - it's not completely transfer-proof. Maybe it's because I have combination dehydrated skin, but despite its impressive longevity, it does fade a bit when eating. It tends to transfer onto utensils and even paper cups, so if that bothers you, you might want to apply it sparingly. If you're after absolutely zero transfer, you might be better off with a lip shield (if those are still trendy). Also, as someone with sensitive skin, I noticed a slight allergic reaction after wearing it for extended periods. Another downside: it doesn't blend well for gradients. While it's a pink-red shade, it might not suit those with cool winter complexions. - wh*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessMay 31, 2020
I bought this tint because it doesn't transfer onto masks. The photo makes it look lighter, but it's actually a deeper, more intense color. It stains in just 3 seconds. It's not a velvet type, but rather a combination of the old-school sticky water tint stain and a high-pigment mousse texture, resulting in a deep red. As it fades, it leaves behind a deep red-pink. If you blot off the excess with a tissue, it sets to a vibrant color that doesn't transfer. I purchased it on sale for 9,600 won. Based on blog reviews, I thought it would be a cool-toned pink-red, but it applies much darker than expected. Those who suit deeper shades might love it. I'd recommend choosing a lighter shade, though even that might be quite intense. Caution: The tint may splatter when you pull out the applicator, potentially leaving red spots! As it's a water tint with high pigmentation, it stains very quickly and intensely along the applicator's path. This makes it challenging to create a gradient or apply lightly. You might end up with vampire penguin lips, with the color setting in the square shape of the applicator tip. It seems you need the skill to apply it quickly and precisely with a lip brush, using very little product. Unfortunately, it only works for full lip application, which is disappointing. Alternatively, you might need to mix it with a lighter shade before applying, as it's too dark on its own. If you apply the amount that comes on the applicator directly... It's difficult to apply, and the color doesn't suit me, so this was a fail for me. It's a matter of personal preference and individual experiences, so someone else might love it.
