★ Irritation: I loved that it wasn't too harsh on the skin! ★ Coloring: The color payoff is really excellent, and it worked great for covering my father's gray hair too. ★ Longevity: The staying power is truly impressive! It would be nice if they offered smaller portions specifically for gray hair coverage! Here's a tip: apply some cream to your forehead before coloring. It helps prevent the dye from staining your skin. Highly recommend this trick! - tk**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 22, 2022
※Longevity It's been 10 days since I dyed my hair, and the color is still holding strong, just like when I first applied it. ※Scent and Irritation The fragrance wasn't overpowering, and I barely felt any irritation on my scalp. ※Color Payoff While the photos might not capture it fully, it truly gives a deep black color. I'm absolutely in love with the shade! The dye works incredibly well. Just be careful, as it also stains the skin easily. I got a bit on my arms, forehead, and neck, which lasted for about two days. Apply with caution. ※Color Fading and Transfer There was no color transfer, but it did take a while for the excess dye to wash out. In my experience, it took about 5 days for the water to run clear. ※Coverage With chest-length hair that's on the thicker side, I found two bottles to be slightly insufficient. If your hair is similar in length to the photo or longer, you might want to get 3 bottles for ample coverage. ※ The color bleeding and how easily it stains the skin were disappointing. However, given its longevity and how beautifully the color fades, I would still consider repurchasing. You can get 2 bottles for 10,900 won during Olive Young's sale period! Also, remember to apply Vaseline or cover areas prone to staining with plastic wrap! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJan 23, 2022
The color develops quickly! Of course, being a black shade, that's expected, but even on damaged hair from previous dyes, it took hold fast! The color is as dark as the night sky, which looks beautiful. It had less of a chemical smell and caused less damage than I anticipated. It's not the most convenient option for DIY home coloring. If it gets on your skin, the stain won't come off easily. Make sure to apply a barrier cream... Also, for damaged hair, add some kind of oil or treatment. Otherwise, you won't be able to comb through your hair during the dyeing process. To minimize damage, apply the dye quickly and leave it on for less than 20 minutes! I also add a nourishing hair essence for extra protection! - po*****Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedSep 27, 2021
It was generous enough to cover my long hair that reaches halfway down my back, even with a thick head of hair. My hair is fine but I have a lot of it! I really wanted super dark hair and wow, it's truly jet black now, haha! The color bleeding lasted for over a week, unfortunately. But aside from that, there are no other downsides! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 13, 2021
The color really takes hold. I got the jet-black hair I was hoping for. It's not easy to apply by yourself. I've only used foam dyes before, so this was quite challenging for me. Apply some petroleum jelly to your neck, ears, and face before dyeing. It's tough to remove if the dye stains your skin. - ji********Normal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 29, 2020
I heard that hair might become dry, but that wasn't the case at all. Using the included treatment made my hair surprisingly softer. The color is the black I wanted, so I'm really happy with it! As someone with bleached hair who usually doesn't use treatments, I expected my hair to be all over the place, but it actually feels like my hair condition has improved... There's nothing particularly bad, but they're asking me to write something... why... why... why... potato wedges... Oh, right, the smell - well, it's hair dye, so it's pretty intense as expected! Make sure to apply Vaseline around your hairline... I didn't do it and ended up with a bruise on my forehead for about two days. - su********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 23, 2020
1. The scent wasn't overpowering. 2. Despite having an extremely sensitive scalp (I usually feel a strong tingling sensation even with regular hair dye, not just bleach), I didn't experience any discomfort at all. 3. My hair didn't feel significantly damaged. It seems to cause less damage than I expected. 1. The color has been washing out for 3 weeks now... I wonder when it will stop! 2. This might be due to my poor application skills, but the color turned out a bit patchy. 1. I'm not sure if it's because I didn't leave the dye on long enough out of fear of damaging my hair, but there are still some brown patches left. Since it doesn't damage your hair much, it might be better to apply the dye thoroughly and leave it on for the full recommended time before washing. 2. My hair length was right at the shoulder line, and I have quite thick hair. I used one full bottle and about 2/3 of another. Hope this helps as a reference! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 10, 2020
The color turns out absolutely gorgeous!! And even though it's a DIY dye job, it was super easy to do! The amount is a bit on the skimpy side... Even after using more, it still wasn't quite enough... Nothing in particular...? - a4*******Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 30, 2020
Dyeing my hair with cool ash made my complexion look brighter, which feels great! The gel cream formula adheres perfectly without dripping, making it easy to apply solo. The dual comb cap made application much smoother than traditional bubble dyes and caused less damage to my hair. As expected, the cool ash color looks prettier than regular brown tones. (One bottle is just right for this hair length) There's not much to complain about, honestly. If anything, I wish it had a bit more of a grey tone to it. Just follow the instructions and you'll be fine!
