I get laser treatments at the dermatology clinic every two weeks, and I usually apply a hydrating moisturizer like Aestura afterward. But when my skin feels really irritated, I reach for a cica cream like this one instead! Then I layer another hydrating moisturizer on top, and it's perfect. Now that April's here and the seasons are changing, my skin's been acting up with that tingling sensation, so I found myself reaching for this cream again. Even though it has a lightweight formula, it's not just watery hydration—there's actually some real moisture to it, which makes it incredibly soothing! I really dislike those super watery products that leave your skin feeling dry the moment you apply them, but this one is different. After I use it, my skin doesn't feel parched at all. It stays comfortable and hydrated. It does have a distinctive scent to it. I guess you'd call it a cica fragrance? There's a slight herbal note from ingredients like centella asiatica extract that can be a bit much sometimes. This is the kind of cream I reach for more when my skin's struggling than when it's doing well. With "cica" right in the name, it's honestly the perfect soothing cream for irritated skin. Nothing else comes close when your complexion needs calming. - da*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcneDark CirclesInner DrynessRednessFeb 5, 2026 (UTC+0)
I kept repurchasing this moisturizer right up until it was discontinued! While I was using it, I never experienced that deep dryness feeling, even though my skin tends to be dehydrated underneath. Since I have oily skin, the moisturizer itself has quite a bit of richness to it, so it did feel a little heavy and greasy on me. The reason I can't recommend it is simply because it's been discontinued, which is such a shame. - an******Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedOct 25, 2025 (UTC+0)
After a dermatological procedure, my face felt hot and tingly. Instead of immediately applying a moisturizer, I felt I needed something to reduce the heat and soothe my skin. That's when I reached for MediCube's Cica Cream. With "Cica" right in the name, you know it's designed for calming the skin. Here's my post-procedure routine: First, I spritz on a non-greasy hydrating mist to cool down my heated skin. Then, I generously apply the Cica Cream to soothe my complexion. Once it's absorbed a bit, I finish with a moisturizer. As someone who gets dermatological treatments every two weeks, I've found this routine to be the most effective for calming my skin! While it's not exactly a drawback, the lightweight texture might leave those with very dry skin wanting more hydration during the winter months. True to its name, this cream is fantastic for soothing the skin! It's not just a simple lightweight moisturizer. When you apply it generously before bed, it feels like it creates a protective moisture barrier on your skin. It's a wonderfully light yet effective calming cream that I absolutely love! - jb********Normal SkinAcneRecommendedJul 18, 2025 (UTC+0)
I've been using this for a while now, and it's fantastic for those pesky little blemishes and calming angry-looking spots! I apply a bit more than usual at night, and by morning, the redness has noticeably subsided. There's not much to complain about, but the amount in the container is a bit awkward. That's why I'm planning to stock up on two at a time. If you're struggling with small bumps, I've found some success using those oil blotting sheets. After applying the cream all over (I was mainly concerned about my forehead), I'd put the blotting paper on top of the cream before it fully absorbed. Once I felt it had soaked up enough, I'd remove the paper and try not to touch my skin too much afterward. - an******Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJun 6, 2025 (UTC+0)
I've been using Medicube's toner pads for over two years now, and I also use their skincare devices. So when it comes to Medicube products, I tend to trust and try them out. The Super Cica Cream is an incredibly good moisturizer. As the name suggests, it contains cica, making it a gentle, soothing hydration cream that's simply fantastic. The way it absorbs is remarkably smooth - it's neither too heavy nor too light, so I think it would suit all skin types, regardless of your complexion. Rather than pointing out drawbacks, I'll say that as someone with extremely dry skin, I find this product, being a hydrating cream, is a bit light on moisturization. It's more suitable for summer than winter! If you find this product a bit light like I did, mixing in just 1-2 drops of facial oil makes it much more moisturizing and the effects last much longer! - hi*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcneBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 26, 2024 (UTC+0)
First off, I love that this moisturizer feels cool on the skin even without refrigeration, giving a sense of reducing heat when applied to the face. Also, when I mixed it with my base makeup to prevent caking, it gave a beautiful dewy glow that I really appreciated. There's nothing particularly bad to mention. The product is so gentle that I didn't experience any blemishes while using it. And that's coming from someone with super sensitive skin! - wh***********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcneEnlarged PoresRecommendedOct 26, 2024 (UTC+0)
It's really great! Absorbs well and doesn't cause any blemishes on my skin. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. However, the quantity is a bit too small. - ru******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcneSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 22, 2024 (UTC+0)
It absorbs well and applies smoothly, leaving the skin feeling hydrated. It seems to work well for my skin, which has more small blemishes than inflamed acne, without spreading too much. I don't have any particular complaints. I'm using it consistently. - sz***Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 17, 2024 (UTC+0)

Since I started working out, I've been super stressed about sudden forehead blemishes, possibly due to my bangs. But after using the Medicube Cica line, my forehead has become so clear! I used the Medicube Cica toner, ampoule, and cream in that order. The cream is definitely essential, as my skin gets very dry without it. I heard it contains 10,000ppm of Super Cica. The texture is a slightly thin cream that applies smoothly and absorbs well. It feels a bit sticky right after application, but that feeling disappears quickly. My sensitive-skinned 4th grader had tiny bumps all over her forehead, but after consistently applying this, they completely vanished! My daughter uses it too! I wish it came in a larger size. The amount of cream is too small. It's not exactly cheap either, so buying the toner, ampoule, and cream all at once can be quite expensive.
