This was my first time trying a sun mist format. I usually apply sunscreen meticulously before makeup, but I've always been worried about not reapplying enough during outdoor activities. It can be a hassle to reapply, and constantly putting something on your face in summer can feel heavy, right? The Dermadoctor Sun Mist was a product that addressed these concerns perfectly. The mist format provides sun protection with just a spray, while also cooling down your face and adding hydration - it was exactly what I needed. It was great to be able to quickly spritz it not just on my face, but also on exposed arms and legs. It was especially handy when rushing out with the kids and forgetting to apply sunscreen - I could just quickly spray it on! While kids often dislike the process of applying sunscreen or sun pacts, they found the Dermadoctor Sun Mist fun to use because of its spray format. With SPF50, it offers high protection, and the spray nozzle, which is crucial for mists, disperses the product finely over a wide area, which I really appreciated. The added blue light protection makes it great for frequent use at the office too. When your skin feels dry, you can spritz on this sun mist for both hydration and blue light protection. The feel on the skin is nice too - it quickly dries to a soft, non-sticky finish after application. Since it's a mist, it gets used up quickly. It would be great if they offered a larger size version. Its small size makes it perfect for popping into your bag, great for on-the-go. However, the bottle feels quite sturdy, which adds a bit of weight. < Hydration > While it's not intensely moisturizing, when you spray it on your face, it feels like it creates a light, protective layer. If you spray it on your arm and touch it, there's a slight richness to it. It gives your skin a subtle glow, creating that coveted "Inner Glow" look. < Spray Quality > The mist isn't ultra-fine, but it's quite delicate! However, I'd recommend using it before makeup, as spraying directly onto made-up skin might cause pilling. < Scent > There's barely any fragrance, just a hint of that characteristic sunscreen smell. It dissipates quickly though. < Irritation > It feels incredibly gentle with no irritation at all. I didn't experience any blemishes, making it great for everyday use. Being a spray type, I'm slightly concerned about whether it's applied evenly. That's why I tend to use it more on my body when going out rather than on my face. Also, I wouldn't recommend using it after makeup... If you spray it over your makeup, you risk making your makeup look cakey or causing it to pill, so be careful. When using the spray, don't hesitate - press it down firmly in one go for an even, fine mist! I once made the mistake of pressing it lightly and ended up with big droplets, which was quite surprising!

The bottle isn't completely round but slightly flattened and oval-shaped, which gives it a great grip. I appreciate that it's not sticky at all, making it feel light on the skin. It's also convenient to spray on arms and legs. Given how little you need to use each time, it seems like it'll last all summer long! While the spray distribution is generally even, if you spray the same spot more than once, it tends to dispense a bit more product from the lower part of the nozzle, causing it to clump. It might be due to the product flowing downwards and accumulating. Spray it on frequently for excellent UV protection. I first tried it on my arms and legs, and was pleasantly surprised by how finely it misted and how refreshing it felt. Even on my super sensitive skin, there was no irritation. For the body, this mist type is really convenient to use given the large surface area. I've been using it daily with great results. With its transparent, hydrating finish that doesn't leave any greasiness, it's suitable for both men and women. As a spray product, even if it accidentally gets on clothes while applying, it doesn't leave any stains or discoloration. While the product's strength lies in its ultra-fine and thin mist, this very thinness makes me worry that using it alone might not provide complete sun protection. It might be best to use it in conjunction with a regular sunscreen. Keep it with you during summer and spray it frequently on your face, arms, and legs. You'll also feel an instant cooling effect from the added hydration.

This product, however, has such a light, water-like texture that it doesn't feel stifling at all when it touches my skin.
