As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I recently experienced a breakout after being careless with my skincare routine. But after reading reviews here, I decided to give this product a try. I've been using it morning and night along with an aloe face mask, and in just a week, my skin has returned to about 95% of its normal state! If it continues to be this effective, I'm planning to make this my go-to modeling mask. To be honest, what consumers really want from a modeling mask is: • No blemishes (or even better, helps clear them up) • Easy to remove (to avoid irritation) • Hydrating • Absorbs impurities (heat, excess oil, etc.) • Brightening effects Of course, all modeling masks have that "sealing in" effect for nutrients. But this one checks all the boxes! With other products, I'd think "Oh, this aspect is nice," but then I'd break out. Or I'd think "This seems good," but then it wouldn't dry properly or would leave my skin feeling parched. So far, this has been consistently good and hassle-free. And it's affordable too! The color? This is an issue with other brands too, but I wish they'd just skip the colorants and keep it white. In my opinion, a slightly runnier consistency is better for hydration than one that's too thick. It also leaves less residue. For one scoop, I use a ratio of 1:0.95. If you currently have a lot of excess oil or blemishes, I recommend applying only toner and serum before the modeling mask. This seems to help the mask better absorb impurities. Also, avoid using too many thick products like moisturizers before the mask, as it can make your skin feel itchy underneath. Once your skin improves, you can layer toner, serum, and moisturizer before applying the modeling mask for best results. - 7z********Oily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 1, 2025
This was the first modeling mask I've ever tried, and I absolutely loved it! The fragrance was delightful, and it did an excellent job of removing dead skin cells. It's especially fantastic for exfoliating lips - the results are amazing! When I first started using it, I struggled a bit because I didn't know the ideal water-to-powder ratio. This made it difficult to remove, which was frustrating. As you continue using this mask, you'll get better at mixing the perfect consistency. Once you find that golden ratio, you'll see why it works so hard to give your skin that coveted glow! - ps********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 1, 2024
It's fantastic for calming redness on your face during summer. As someone with super sensitive skin, I'm thrilled it doesn't cause any blemishes. The excess powder can be messy, and the ziplock packaging is a bit inconvenient to use. For best results, mix the modeling mask powder with cool water to a thick consistency, then add some toner or aloe vera before applying. - au************Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessRecommendedFeb 27, 2024
It's great for the skin. Being a modeling mask, it offers good value for money too. There's a lot of excess powder. The cooling effect is minimal. The scent isn't very pleasant. - ss****Combination SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedFeb 15, 2024
I use this product religiously twice a week after shaving! For even better results, I mix in two drops of my go-to ampoule. It seems to enhance the effectiveness. One downside is that you need to scrub quite hard with a damp sponge to remove the residue stuck to your eyebrows. It takes some effort to break it down.... For men with broader faces, mixing 50 parts powder with 60 parts water creates a consistency that's neither too runny nor too thick for easy application. - fb********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJan 17, 2024
After using it, I felt an immediate cooling effect that really calmed my skin. It noticeably reduced redness and the scent wasn't unpleasant, which was nice. While it's great for bringing down skin temperature, it doesn't actually eliminate blemishes. Still, I think its ability to cool the skin is a positive feature. For best results, mix 1 part powder with 0.5-0.6 parts water and 0.1-0.2 parts aloe. You can also add your favorite ampoule or toner for an extra boost! - an**********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedAug 1, 2023
I loved how it instantly provided hydration after application. It also has a nice cooling effect. I didn't particularly feel like my skin improved when using this product. It works great when used together with an ampoule or toner! Alternatively, you can use it with the leftover essence from a sheet mask for added benefits! - pz*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 22, 2021
I'm satisfied with the affordable price, allowing me to use a generous amount at once. The soothing effect was better than I expected. After using it for a while, I noticed a significant improvement in the redness on my face. It doesn't help with rough skin conditions. After use, there's hardly any moisturizing feeling. - aa******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 4, 2021
Love it! I chose this because aloe always works well for me. My skin is sensitive and prone to blemishes, so soothing and preventing breakouts are crucial. This mask does a great job at calming my skin! The most important thing for me is that my skin tends to get hot, but this keeps it cool for a long time. After using it, I definitely notice a reduction in redness. Plus, there's plenty in the package, so it should last a while! Honestly, there's not much to dislike. If I had to say something, it's just that being a modeling mask, it can be a bit of a hassle to use. But that's about it! I apply this mask after moisturizing my skin with toner - dk**********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessRecommendedDec 9, 2020
It's a large size and incredibly affordable. Even though I have sensitive skin, it doesn't cause any blemishes. What I love most is how it calms my redness - it's perfect for me! Without a spatula for applying the mask or a bowl for mixing, it can be quite challenging to use. That's a bit of a drawback. I found that mixing 1 part powder with 0.9 parts water, and then adding a few drops of your favorite serum or oil really enhances the effectiveness.
