I love that I can spray this right after cleansing to prevent dryness. It's great for exfoliating dead skin cells too! If you spray too much, it can run down and get into your eyes, which causes a slight tingling sensation. - gb********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedFeb 5, 2025
My skin is sensitive and prone to excess sebum and blackheads if I don't take care of it for even a few days. I've been using this product intensively on my nose, chin, and between my eyebrows, and wow! My skin feels smooth and refined without any irritation. It's not sticky and feels light, so it's even pleasant to spray on my body. I really love how widely it sprays! It can feel a bit sticky when layered, and when my skin was particularly sensitive, it stung a little upon application. If you soak a cotton pad with the product and place it on your nose, it leaves your nose super smooth. - gk********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedMar 31, 2024
Gently exfoliates with AHA, BHA, and PHA Dissolves whiteheads/blackheads for smoother skin Soothes blemishes and provides hydration Spray it anywhere - face, chest, back - with a quick spritz As someone with oily skin and excess sebum production, I often wake up with bumpy skin on my nose if I forget to remove my makeup. I also tend to get blemishes during ovulation and after eating greasy or chocolate-rich foods. I used to love using pore softeners and aqua peeling devices for that satisfying deep clean feeling. However, it was time-consuming and seemed to trigger rapid sebum production, refilling my pores within days. I've heard it's better to maintain your skin daily rather than completely emptying pores. With the Monage mist, I noticed smoother skin and dissolved sebum on my nose after just 3 days of consistent use. It doesn't over-strip, so there's no oily residue or sebum smell. During seasonal changes, it gently removed the thin layer of dead skin cells on my face without irritation. Despite having sensitive skin (except for my nose), I experienced no stinging or irritation. The texture is slightly sticky rather than immediately absorbing, but it works well for evening skincare. This aspect might be a matter of personal preference. Unlike typical hydrating mists, this one has a fine particle size but a narrower spray pattern. It's more like a precise, fine water gun than a diffuse spray. I actually prefer this as it allows for targeted application with less product wasted in the air. I tested its makeup removal capabilities, expecting it to work well like my usual AHA/BHA foam. It easily dissolved most makeup, except for eyeliner. If you prefer a wide, all-over mist application, you might find the narrow spray pattern disappointing. Despite careful application, I experienced slight eye irritation, so it's best to avoid the eye area completely. For those with oily skin who prefer ultra-light, instantly absorbing products, this might feel a bit heavy. While the first layer feels moisturizing, applying 2-3 layers could feel sticky.
