It absorbs really well. Above all, it's not irritating, so after using this Yonka sunscreen, I can't use anything else. If you apply foundation right after, it might pill a little. So when getting ready in the morning, I try to apply the sunscreen early, dry my hair, and then put on foundation. - su*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 11, 2019
This cream has a nice, firm texture that doesn't run when you squeeze it out, and it applies smoothly. I'd recommend using this on its own if you don't have many blemishes. There's hardly any scent to it. I knew the ingredients were gentle, and I'm pleased to see that they're indeed not bad when I checked here on Hwahae. While there's no white cast, I noticed it tends to pill when applying cushion or foundation over it. Some reviews mentioned eye irritation, but I didn't experience that personally. The amount seems a bit small for the price, unfortunately. For Yonka products, whether it's a cream or sunscreen, it absorbs better if you pat it in with your three middle fingers instead of rubbing. That's how they apply it during facials at Y-SPA too. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 28, 2019
It applies smoothly without causing any blemishes. I use this product on my dermatologist's recommendation. There seems to be a slight stinging sensation around the eyes. You need to avoid applying it near the eye area. - wi******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 20, 2019
I've tried all sorts of sunscreens, but this one's the holy grail I've settled on. It's the first sunscreen I could use without tearing up! Even when I'm lazy and just quickly rub it in, there's no white cast. I've been loyal to this for 5 years now, and still haven't found anything better. The price is definitely the downside. I buy it at Lotte Duty Free when traveling abroad, or from Hyundai Department Store's online shop when I run out. Even buying directly online doesn't make much difference - it's always just as expensive. That's its biggest flaw. But the catch is, I still can't give it up. - ny******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 10, 2019
Even though my skin tends to react to most sunscreens, this product doesn't cause any blemishes! While it's not a lightweight formula, it applies smoothly and pleasantly without leaving any white cast. Usually, Yonka products have strong fragrances, but this one seems to be unscented. It stings when applied around the eyes. I've had issues with sunscreens causing blemishes, feeling greasy, or not applying well, but eye irritation is a first with this product. At first, I thought my eyes were just tired, feeling dry and teary, but after a few days, I realized it was because of this sunscreen. It's fine if you avoid the eye area! Strangely, the product doesn't pill when applied, but it does later on. If I apply it in the morning, it pills in the afternoon. I wonder why? This is great for men! It's not greasy, leaves no white cast, doesn't cause blemishes, and has no fragrance, so my husband uses it very happily. I only use it when I go out without makeup, avoiding the eye area. This sunscreen gives me the impression that even if I apply a lot, it won't cause blemishes, so I like it despite its drawbacks. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 16, 2018
As someone who has loved and used Avène products for nearly three years, I trust their gentle formulas and safe ingredients. A major advantage is that it doesn't leave any white cast, which is fantastic. However, it does have a rich texture, so if you apply makeup over it, your skin might look quite shiny. Also, while it's SPF50, European products don't typically show a PA rating, which leaves me slightly curious about its full protection. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 21, 2018
I tried this at the dermatologist's office and liked it so much I bought it. There's no white cast, and when applied, it makes my skin feel firm and supple. The price~!! I paid the full 68,000 won at the dermatologist's, and it's not much cheaper online either. Secondly, while the ingredients list could be better, it seems unavoidable for sunscreens whose primary purpose is UV protection. Still, compared to other sunscreens, I'd say the formula isn't bad at all.
