After realizing that dryness was the cause of my blemishes, I bought this facial oil. Its soothing scent made it perfect for applying before bed, and it kept my skin hydrated, so I used it frequently throughout the winter. The sticky feeling lingers, which tends to attract a lot of dust. You need to massage it in well to ensure it absorbs properly. While you might think you need to buy an expensive tin case for storage, I've found that a small container from Daiso works just fine for keeping it. - sm******Combination SkinAcne SkinSep 24, 2021
Well... I've heard it works synergistically with other acne products, though I can't say for sure myself... It leaves an oily residue on the skin that isn't for moisturizing purposes. You have to apply the product by rubbing it directly on your face, which is messy and leaves your hands greasy. It's also not easy to store. I have a lot of empty Lush containers, so I used one of those to store it. - ch*********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityNov 27, 2020
Purchased with my own money Vegan product Scent: As expected from Lush, but it does contain fragrance. However, it's not overly artificial, which is nice. Overall Product Review: It seems to work well for my dry skin. Apart from being slightly tricky to use, it's moisturizing with a strong oil content, but also provides hydration. It's likely great for those with dry skin. The convenience of being able to swipe it across your face and potentially skip other skincare steps is a plus. It's a vegan product. Despite Lush's commitment to vegan and natural products, this does contain fragrance. While the scent is natural, applying fragrance directly to the face is a bit concerning. It feels surprisingly dry when applying to the face. Since it doesn't melt immediately, you need to warm it up in your hands first to avoid tugging at your skin. The product itself is a stick/bar of concentrated oils, so it's quite greasy and prone to melting. It's definitely not suitable for use before makeup, and you need to be careful with the amount you apply as it can easily become too much. The application process is both simple and complicated at the same time. Before use, it's best to swipe it a few times on the back of your hand to warm it up with your body heat. This helps melt away any residue from previous uses and makes it easier to apply without pulling on your skin. When using the bar, hold it by the wrapper to prevent it from melting due to your body heat. Try gliding it along your skin in upward motions - it might even provide a bit of a facial massage effect! - su********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 12, 2020
I'm currently melting it slightly with the heat from my hands and mixing it with my moisturizer. The hydration is excellent! It's perfect for use during this season. You need a separate container for storage, and you should only use it when your hands are clean.
