It's like a solid version of products such as popo cream or jojoba oil. As a result, it gives your skin a beautiful glow. Your face will never feel dry. When you place it on your skin, it melts with your body heat and absorbs smoothly. It seems good enough to use on its own after cleansing. However, if you don't like the feeling of shine, make sure to test it before buying. When you apply makeup over this, your skin will have a radiant glow. It's more of an oil-based glow rather than a pearlescent one. In cold weather like now, this oil-based glow looks particularly pretty. Is it really true that we have to buy the tin case separately? The scent is lovely, and I appreciate that the formula doesn't run. It provides excellent hydration too. Knowing it's fair trade makes me feel like I've made an ethical purchase. I wish they would just include the tin case with the product. I apply the Torriden low-molecular essence first, then layer this on top like a protective veil. Apart from the quality ingredients, I can't say there was anything particularly impressive about this product. It pills terribly when you apply makeup over it. I'm almost done with one. I've been using it for about two to three months. To be honest, I bought it without much expectation. I used to go through several bottles of Mad Hippie Vitamin C serum, but I switched to this solid product for zero waste, and wow, it's amazing! I didn't think it could replace a liquid serum, but it's even better than the liquid ones I used before. After using this and sleeping, my skin feels incredibly smooth and soft in the morning. When you apply it, it feels like it's coating your face, and it seems to lock in all the moisture from the toner. I follow this with Lush Celestial moisturizer. It's a great combination. It can melt if your house gets too hot. I was surprised when it started melting because my heater was on full blast in winter. It doesn't drip or anything, just melts like chocolate. If it melts, don't touch it - just put it straight in the fridge and it will keep its original shape. I use a small tin lid (from a candle container) flipped upside down as a stand. You could probably use something like a small sauce dish you have at home. If you put it on a dish and keep it in your bathroom cabinet or on your vanity, you don't have to worry about dust.

While testing various products, I mentioned my extremely dry skin, and the staff recommended this serum bar! There was a noticeable difference between the areas where I applied it and where I didn't, even in the store. So instead of buying two masks, I decided to get one serum bar and one mask. When I used it at home, unlike when I use a mask without the serum bar, my face didn't feel tight at all. During the ten-minute wait and even after washing, there was no sign of dryness. I usually have extremely dry skin, so I need to apply face oil right after washing and put on toner as soon as I get out. But on days when I use this serum bar with a mask, I love that I don't have to rush through my skincare routine. Even on days when I'm not using a mask, I sometimes use this instead of face oil. The scent is lovely, making me feel like I'm pampering myself even when I'm not doing much. Being in bar form makes it easy to control the amount used! I'd say that's another advantage, as you can make it last as long as the price warrants. While it's said to be usable after masking, I personally find it works better as a booster when applied before the mask. There's a noticeable difference between using it and not using it before a mask! The biggest difference is in how tight your skin feels after washing. I highly recommend this product for those with dry skin or those worried about tightness when masking! The downside? It comes without packaging and in a completely raw form, so you need to buy a tin case separately. Since it shouldn't get wet, you have to be extra careful about moisture as there's no handle. And of course, the wicked price! True to Lush's style, the price is a bit steep, but I think I'll keep buying it as long as I'm using wash-off masks. The tin case for sewing kits fits perfectly! It's meant to be stored at room temperature, so not in the fridge. These days, I'd recommend keeping it by the window. If your face feels a bit oily, instead of rubbing it directly on your face, rub it on your palms first and then apply a thin layer. This way, you can use less product while preventing moisture loss. I bought this on a staff recommendation and have been applying it before and after my mask routine. It's been really effective for my dry skin. It feels like it creates a protective layer? On days when I use a mask, I can just apply this before bed and don't experience any deep dryness. It's difficult to store and melts even from the heat of your hands. You have to hold it very gently. This makes it a bit challenging to apply.

The concept of a solid serum was innovative, and I bought it on strong recommendation from a staff member due to my dry, blemish-prone skin during seasonal changes. They said it would provide hydration and soothing effects for the entire face rather than just being a spot treatment, and I'm definitely experiencing that. Since using this, I've stopped using ampoules. I've also stopped mixing oil into my cream. I don't need to anymore because my skin doesn't feel dry. Before, when I finished with oily products or mixed in oil to combat dryness, it felt moisturizing but seemed to feed my acne. Now, I've found my skin's peace. While it hasn't completely eradicated my small bumps or pustules, they're not increasing, and most importantly, my skin texture has become incredibly smooth. Despite not being dry and containing many oil-based ingredients, it doesn't cause blemishes and adheres to the skin comfortably, feeling absolutely blissful. I only use it at night, but every morning when I cleanse, I'm amazed by my skin texture. It's a bit fussy because you need to be careful about storage to avoid dust, and it's sensitive to hand temperature (it shouldn't be too hot or cold), but the benefits are so numerous that I don't even mind these minor inconveniences. Even with careful storage, some dust can stick to it when you touch it, as there's always dust in the air. You might need to research some personal tips for storage cases. Unless you're a serious beauty junkie, you probably wouldn't repurchase it twice... but I'll keep buying it! Lush products are always pricey for their size, making you hesitate at checkout, but once you start, it's like an ant trap you can't escape from - that's the downside. This product is really tiny. If you use it well, it might last about a month...? Why do they make such good products that make me want to buy more and more? That's what I find frustrating! I store it in a soap case with a lid from Daiso. If you line the bottom with the oily paper it came wrapped in, it doesn't stick to the bottom and stays clean! After cleansing, while my face is still slightly damp, I thoroughly massage in some aloe gel and let it absorb. Then I apply a light toner with a runny consistency. After that, I melt this product in my palms and envelop my face with it. I even gently rub the solid directly around my eyes, eliminating the need for eye cream. It melts with your skin's warmth as you apply it. The store staff advised to use it by smoothing out wrinkles (like a massage), so that's how I've been using it. This product was recommended for my dry skin, but after using it, my skin felt even drier in the morning. Being a solid type, it's also a bit inconvenient to use.
