The staying power is fantastic! To test its longevity, I applied only this cushion foundation and hit the gym for an hour-long treadmill session. Amazingly, it held up beautifully with just a slight increase in oil and no breakdown. The finish remained flawless! The included puff doesn't seem to pair well with the product. In my experience, it applies a bit thick and doesn't spread evenly for that perfect coverage. I switched to a different puff I already had, which worked much better with the formula. It would be great if they could redesign the puff to improve application.

This cushion is comfortable on the skin and average in almost every aspect. You don't need to be too careful when applying it - even a quick application works fine. It's suitable for combination skin types prone to dryness or for those with dry skin who've exfoliated well. While it allows your natural skin to slightly show through, it still provides decent coverage, resulting in a non-cakey, dewy semi-matte finish. Despite having cool-toned, olive skin, I chose a warm beige shade as it looks fresh and helps counteract potential summer redness. It's perfect for those who usually wear shade 21, and I found it effectively neutralizes redness. The coverage fills in pores rather than hiding them. Close-up photos might show some settling into pores, but it's not noticeable in person. Even on a day when my skin was quite flaky, the overall finish was surprisingly good! This cushion seems ideal for those with neither problematic nor perfect skin. I'd recommend it to anyone who prefers a healthy, natural look and doesn't mind touch-ups throughout the day. As you can see in the third photo, even a light swipe with a fingertip shows poor adherence, making powder a must-have! Consequently, as time passes, instead of maintaining its initial appearance, the product allows oil to surface, gradually revealing your natural skin. The increasing oiliness over time necessitates touch-ups. However, touch-ups don't result in a messy application. This cushion settles into fine lines and doesn't blur pores, so it's not recommended for those with large pores. Compared to other brands, it's an average cushion, but that also makes it somewhat unremarkable. The last photo shows how it performed on a bad skin day - the T-zone lost coverage due to oil, while the dry cheek areas became patchy and felt tight. I usually wear shade 19, but I chose the more subdued 21 for quick application before work. Now I regret not getting shade 17. I felt there was a noticeable difference in brightness between 17 and 21. Since I prefer a sheer application, I should have gone for the lighter shade. The coverage is on the lighter side, so it's recommended for those who use a lot of concealer, have good skin already, or prioritize a natural skin look. If you control the amount well, any cushion foundation can apply smoothly without pilling. For longer-lasting wear, try using the Banila Co. fixer spray.
