I don't usually use face masks, but my skin has been a mess for a long time, so I tried this along with La Roche-Posay's Cicaplast Baume. The mask is generously soaked in serum and definitely has a calming effect. It really helps to settle things down when you've got angry blemishes or sudden skin flare-ups. When my skin is particularly troubled, I follow up with a thick layer of Cicaplast Baume after the mask. Just keep in mind that it's quite heavy and rich, so it might not be comfortable during the day or in summer. The sheet mask can be a bit tricky to apply. It doesn't adhere as smoothly or snugly as you might expect. When the sheet feels uncomfortable, I sometimes just apply the essence directly to my face in thick layers, or cover it with a plastic mask sheet for better absorption.

I trimmed the eye area with scissors as it was a bit uncomfortable, but overall the size was slightly larger than my face, which worked well. When I used it in winter, the sheet felt really cool upon application - not sure if that's normal or due to the air temperature. Because of this, it seemed to have a better soothing effect and even reduced redness. After use, my skin felt hydrated and it addressed my deep dryness issues. The finish is slightly oily and sticky, so it might be good for dry skin types in winter, but could be a bit heavy for those with oily skin. Due to its high price, I'd recommend using it for intensive barrier repair rather than as a daily mask routine.
