Every winter my hands get so chapped that regular hand creams just don't cut it, but Linola Fett Cream is incredibly rich and oily, making my hands as soft as a baby's skin when applied. I love it so much that I'm always recommending it to everyone around me. It has a slight medicinal scent, but I don't mind it because the effects are so good. I've tried many famous hand creams like Tambourines, Chanel, Aesop, and L'Occitane, but when it comes to hydration, this product is the best! Linola products aren't available domestically, so you have to use international shipping services, which can be a bit costly. However, the product itself is affordable, so I usually buy several at once. Also, if you use it a lot, the sides of the tube might tear (like L'Occitane), but for me, the effectiveness of the product outweighs these minor drawbacks. Apply it frequently on hands, knees, heels, etc., or before bed, and you'll get baby-soft skin. I've been using this product consistently, and I've even received compliments on how pretty my heels look! - fe**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 14, 2023
Ever since I recovered from dermatitis, the cold seasons would leave my face painfully dry, feeling like it was about to crack. Face oils would evaporate quickly, leaving me at a loss. But after applying this, the dryness has significantly decreased. It's become my essential item for seasonal changes. Due to its high oil content, it occasionally causes small bumps on my face! Also, if you apply this as the last step in your routine, it really makes your skin look greasy. I apply this Linola Petro as the final step after my morning skincare routine and sunscreen, and it keeps my skin from feeling dry even until the evening. It works great! - pj***Dry SkinRecommendedFeb 14, 2023
A rich ointment-like cream without shea butter, incredibly thick and nourishing. It's the only luxurious cream you can apply generously on wounds or extremely dry areas. I love that it doesn't contain any pore-clogging ingredients... None. If you have oily skin, a small amount is sufficient. I have dry skin, so I apply it liberally. Since it's such a rich cream, it works best when layered over essences and emulsions with watery textures. Not recommended to use this alone for dryness - always follow your hydration routine first. After proper moisture care, you'll likely find there's no gentler cream that creates such an effective protective barrier. - se******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsRednessRecommendedOct 22, 2022
It's excellent for dermatitis. When I develop skin inflammation, I apply a thin layer at night and sleep for a few days, and it heals quickly. Because it's quite rich, it's best not to apply it during the day. I only use it at night. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedAug 25, 2022
I saw great results when I used this while struggling with skin rashes. Even though I'd get eczema from applying anything, this moisturized my skin and helped control the eczema. It's quite thick. You need to warm it up between your fingers a bit to melt it before applying. - be******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 12, 2022
After taking steroids for an illness, I suffered from contact dermatitis, redness, itching, and dry skin for over 5 years. It was really tough. I heard about Linola being good on the internet and tried it for a month - it became my holy grail! I threw away all my other cosmetics except for emulsions and only use this now. My skin has improved about 80%! It's quite rich but doesn't fully address deep dryness, so by around 3 PM my skin starts to feel tight. To combat this, I use a face mask before work to tackle the deep dryness, then coat with Linola. This keeps my skin hydrated and comfortable for about a day. Avoid eating flour, meat, and alcohol for several consecutive days. It seems no cosmetic can cure food-related skin issues. I noticed breakouts the day after consuming flour and alcohol. After a month of vegetables, fruits, and Linola, my skin looks like a dream! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 5, 2022
I have severe seborrheic dermatitis, and even when taking medication from the dermatologist, it only improves temporarily. Whenever I eat greasy food or my face heats up, my skin turns unbelievably red. I discovered this product while browsing Hwahae. After reading testimonials from other users, I went as far as to purchase it from overseas. The texture is like solidified shea butter or oil. You need to rub it between your hands to warm it up before it melts, but it doesn't really absorb into the skin. The scent is reminiscent of industrial oil. My skin feels like the entire surface layer has been stripped off, and it desperately needs an oil barrier, but there's absolutely none. I've been using modeling masks that are supposed to be good for heat sensitivity, but removing them feels like I'm peeling off my skin. That's why I bought this product after extensive searching, but it really didn't work for me. Seborrheic dermatitis requires balancing oil and moisture while also managing skin temperature. This product does create a physical oil barrier, but as soon as there's a bit of heating or my skin warms up, it feels sticky on the surface, and my face becomes incredibly itchy. I've managed to control my seborrheic dermatitis significantly now, and the most effective method was wearing socks while sleeping and around the house. My feet were always very cold, which hindered blood circulation and caused more heat to rise to my face. Wearing socks even while sleeping made a huge difference. Just reducing the heat in my face made me feel like I could survive. Finding the right skincare products that suit my skin has also helped, but for those who struggle with facial heat sensitivity and have cold hands and feet, especially cold feet, I strongly recommend sleeping with socks on. I used to have cold feet that would still sweat a lot, but just changing this habit has been tremendously helpful. I was really stressed about my skin and visited many clinics, but medication only temporarily reduced inflammation without providing long-term benefits. The packaging is problematic too. If you squeeze it directly, it eventually tears. You need to roll it up like a tube of paint and push it forward as you use it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 7, 2022
A winter essential you can't live without! This cream is famous among those with contact dermatitis. However, it's quite rich and thick, so not recommended for oily skin types. Even though I have oily skin, if I pat it dry with a sponge and apply a thick layer after cleansing, any hives or dermatitis clear up within days. Not sure how much it would help with acne or bumpy skin texture though. Due to its formulation, there's a high chance of residue remaining after cleansing. I just apply a thick layer all over my face. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJan 2, 2022
While some ingredients might seem intimidating for facial use, I've found it works well when applied to specific dry spots. The oil separation can be a bit shocking when you squeeze it out, and the scent is quite unusual, which might be off-putting for some. - bl*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 11, 2021
I discovered this product in my mid-20s when I was struggling with blemishes, and I've been using it for nearly a decade now. I first learned about it as a dermatologist-recommended skincare item and decided to try it when I was having trouble with my super sensitive skin. Not only does the packaging look medicinal, but the texture is also ointment-like. It applies a bit stiffly, as if it's coating your face, but you can tell it's working hard to lock in hydration! If you apply this cream before your toner, essence, or emulsion have fully absorbed, it tends to sit on top of your skin and feel like it's not sinking in properly. For the best results, wait until your previous skincare steps have absorbed well, then apply this to get that protective coating feeling. Because of this, even those with very dry skin might find it a bit heavy to use during summer. Due to its rich consistency, I recommend applying small amounts in sections. In summer, it's best to avoid using it during the day and only apply it at night before bed.
