I've tried every skincare product out there for acne-prone skin. Among them all, only Louis Widmer cream works for me. It's absolutely amazing! There's nothing bad to say. The fact that it's fragrance-free is actually a plus in my book. - db********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMar 15, 2021
Skin type: Combination dehydrated skin, acne-prone, blackheads, super sensitive skin, allergic reaction-prone Quick review: While it doesn't make existing blemishes disappear, it has visibly helped with acne scar treatment. I didn't feel any dryness after application! Plus, it didn't cause any additional breakouts! The formula might be a bit heavy, so I apply about a nickel-sized amount to avoid using too much. When applying, you need to quickly spread it out! The texture is similar to an ointment, so it can concentrate in one area and potentially clog pores. It's best to apply on slightly damp skin to help it spread. There's some stickiness left behind, but that's typical for a repair cream, so it's okay! I apply it in this order: toner - serum - repair cream! Given its texture, I apply it before the serum fully dries. - mi********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJan 24, 2021
I discovered this cream when I ran out during my trip to Switzerland! First off, except for phenoxyethanol, all the ingredients seemed pretty good. When I tried it, it initially felt quite thick, but as I rolled it on, it became more fluid and finished surprisingly fresh. Of course, it maintains its hydrating power throughout! The absorption seems excellent too. Compared to Physiogel Facial Cream, this Silver Cream absorbed much less greasy and more refreshingly over time. Many people mentioned disappointment with the scent, but I actually prefer creams like this that don't use artificial fragrances and let the natural scent of the ingredients come through. It has a slight clay-like smell when applied, but you quickly get used to it and stop noticing. The quantity is a bit small for the price. It's impossible to buy directly in Korea, so I stocked up while in Switzerland. When I run out, I might have to look into international shipping, which will probably be even more expensive! To be honest, I can't say I've noticed any specific improvements from using this cream yet. It's more like a safe, blemish-free cream that's pleasant to use. I recommend applying this cream before bed! If you apply it much earlier, it absorbs so well that you might need to reapply before sleeping. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 16, 2020
This cream is famous among flight attendants for a reason! When applied, it feels moisturizing and gives your skin a plump, bouncy sensation. I love it! I've found my holy grail! As the weather gets cooler and the chilly winds start blowing, our skin is likely to suffer. I'm starting to prepare now so I can maintain that honey-like complexion even in winter! The scent is similar to that of derma brands. It would have been nice if the fragrance was a bit more pleasant, but I've noticed that most products that are good for the skin tend to have this kind of scent. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 7, 2020
I've tried other La Roche-Posay products and loved them, so I'm using this Cicaplast Baume B5 too! As the weather's getting chilly, my skin will likely dry out quickly, but this cream seems perfect for those times! When I apply it before bed, my skin feels soothed, and there's a subtle Inner Glow effect. It even helps my makeup go on better, probably because it's so hydrating. I plan to use it from now through winter. If you're looking for a soothing and hydrating cream, I highly recommend this! I wish the packaging came in a pump bottle instead of just a tube. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedAug 26, 2020
I've finally found the perfect product for my dry skin! After using this, my skin feels so plump and hydrated. When I apply it before bed and do my makeup the next morning, my foundation goes on flawlessly. It's absolutely perfect for those with extremely dry skin! While using this, I realized I wish it came in a larger size. Fingers crossed for that! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 8, 2020
As someone with dry skin prone to flaky dead skin cells, switching to this cream has given my skin a new lease on life! It smooths out my skin texture, so applying it before makeup ensures a radiant complexion with an amazing Inner Glow. When I use it as part of my nighttime skincare routine after cleansing, I wake up amazed at how my skin looks. I wholeheartedly recommend this product to those with super dry skin! What's more, it's fragrance-free, making it perfect for those with sensitive noses. If there's one thing I could improve, I wish it came in a pump bottle! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 6, 2020
I was worried because my atopic dermatitis suddenly flared up due to stress, but after consistently applying this, it gradually calmed down! The amount is generous enough to cover my whole body, and even a small squeeze is sufficient to cover the affected areas. What's more, I really felt the hydration benefits. As someone with naturally dry, flaky skin, I could feel a dramatic softening effect when I applied this. All the roughness disappeared, leaving my skin incredibly smooth. I finally understand why people are so devoted to their creams! Even though it's getting warmer, I'm determined to keep applying this diligently. After all, I want to break free from atopic dermatitis and dry, flaky skin! The only downside is that it's not available in stores, so you can only purchase it online. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 18, 2020
As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I only use this in winter. It's perfect - doesn't cause any blemishes and feels just right! It has an earthy, almost muddy scent. Being quite rich, I can't use it during summer. - de*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 22, 2020
I bought this as a souvenir during my trip to Switzerland, and it turned out to be my holy grail for combating my dehydrated skin! No matter what moisturizer I used before, my forehead would feel tight after a few hours, but with this one, my skin feels comfortable all day long. I love that it's nearly fragrance-free. I've been using it for 3 years now! It's quite rich and thick, but it absorbs well into the skin, which is why I use it even in summer! It doesn't cause my makeup to pill either. Plus, the tube packaging is hygienic, and the price is reasonable. La Roche-Posay claims it's suitable for people with atopic dermatitis, so I once gifted it to a friend with that condition. However, she found it too rich and couldn't use it well. On the other hand, another friend with dry skin loves it and still uses it like I do... It seems that even among those with dry skin, the effectiveness can vary depending on individual skin types!
