As someone who's been using this product for about 7 months, here are the advantages: 1. It effectively conceals pigmentation ➩ The area around my mouth is darker and a bit dull, so I tried using Lavender Fog (a cool blue tone) to cover it. I was really pleased with the results! My previously patchy pigmentation blended seamlessly with my natural cheek color. Lavender Fog seems perfect for brightening darker areas. 2. It has excellent staying power ➩ True to its reputation as a long-lasting pot concealer, it really does stay put. Even without setting powder, it maintains its coverage for quite a while when I'm out and about. I really appreciate that aspect. Now for the drawbacks: 1. It can apply a bit thick ➩ I had hoped this Luna concealer might be different from typical pot concealers that tend to go on thick, but alas... Without using a concealer brush, it can look quite cakey and prone to pilling. It might be challenging for those who aren't skilled with brush application. The shade runs a bit light, so if you typically use shades 22-23, you might find shade 1 works well for you. - mi*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRednessRecommendedJul 8, 2025
- el********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 8, 2025
The consistency is just right, providing great coverage! It's perfect for my skin tone, which is around 13-17. The color is spot-on! I mix Porcelain Beige and Natural Beige to conceal acne scars around the edges of my face, then use Porcelain Beige to cover blemishes and pores on my nose and inner face areas. It works like a charm! In winter, it can be a bit drying, and if you touch up too much, it might start to look a bit cakey. I simply apply it with my fingers, let it sit for about 5 minutes, then gently press the edges with a cushion puff. Works great! - lo***********Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 6, 2025
I highly recommend this for combination skin types! The coverage is moderate - it should conceal most areas well unless you're trying to cover something very dark. While the coverage seems decent, it fades away quickly... It might be due to my lack of skill with concealers, but I probably won't repurchase this. For best results, apply a suitable amount with your fingers to the areas you want to conceal. Wait about 10 seconds, then gently pat it in. This method really helps it cover effectively. - gg*******Dry SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesRecommendedApr 5, 2025
This concealer has great coverage and isn't too matte, making it perfect even for extremely dry skin! I'm already on my second tube, using every last drop! Like all concealer palettes, it's hard to keep it clean during use. - co********Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 24, 2025
First off, I have pretty severe dark circles and discoloration around my mouth. Even though some say the Der*** concealer has great coverage and hides everything well, I'm one of those people it doesn't work for. With that in mind, here's my review! The texture is right in between thick and creamy. This made it super easy to apply with a brush without needing any special techniques. The coverage is definitely above average, and it lasted well throughout the day. I think this would work for most skin types. If you have oily skin, go for Der***, and if you're on the dry side, I'd recommend Luna. There wasn't anything particularly bad about it. However, I wouldn't recommend using it on blemishes as it's not completely irritation-free. Pro tip: Use the lid to mix and customize your shade. It's really great! - pu********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 8, 2025
Great for use with a brush. Excellent for covering dark spots, and the variety of shades allows for easy mixing. The staying power is truly impressive. It can accentuate skin texture. Also, it lasts so long that when the rest of your makeup starts to fade, this stays put, making it look odd if applied only to specific areas. - 58********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 8, 2025
I've been struggling with blemishes recently, but this product covers them all up perfectly. People tell me my skin looks flawless, even though I have some pretty noticeable acne scars - they can't even tell! I didn't use the purple one since I don't really need it for my complexion, but I've almost used up the rest. I'm planning to repurchase and highly recommend it. You should definitely give it a try! There wasn't really anything bad about it. While it can't completely conceal everything, when I use this product and then apply a small amount of foundation, it doesn't look cakey and my skin appears healthier. If your skin is dry, it might not absorb as well, so make sure to apply an emulsion or moisturizer before using this! Instead of applying it thick, I recommend layering it gradually: pat it on with a cushion, then add another light layer. This method works best. - zb********Dry SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsDec 13, 2024
More moisturizing than the famous DS brand? That seems to be its only redeeming quality! Terrible at covering dark circles!! Why doesn't it conceal at all? You need to apply layers and layers just to get minimal coverage. But you know what happens when you pile on concealer around the eyes, right? It creases and breaks down.... It creases around the eyes, mouth, and sides of the nose. How does it manage to crease so badly?! I wouldn't buy this if I were you. You're better off using a small amount of a concealer that actually covers well instead. - ka********Normal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 11, 2024
I haven't had my personal color analysis done, but everyone insists I have a cool undertone with my fair complexion! Usually, I only apply sunscreen and powder, skipping concealer altogether. Whenever I tried concealer before, it would either look patchy or disappear while evening out my skin tone, so it seemed pointless. Then, I received a set with brushes as a birthday gift and decided to give it a try! I experimented with different shades: Purple for dark circles The first shade for areas with redness The middle shade from the top for blemishes Pink instead of blush The shade on the right from the top for nose contouring Surprisingly, even though this was the only change to my usual makeup routine, my 7 AM application lasted until night! I didn't need to touch up except for one quick powder pat. I used to stress about product settling into my pores and around my nose, but I was amazed by how well this worked. I'm 100% going to repurchase this product! The colors matched my complexion perfectly too! The brush that came as a gratis with the set didn't have a cap, just a perforated rubber cover. It's a bit disappointing that it doesn't fully protect against dust during storage.
