Remember, you're already beautiful, but a little makeup can enhance that natural charm. So go ahead and glam up, everyone! I'd be even happier if the color was just a tiny bit lighter, but I'm still satisfied with it as is. Here's a tip for removing the clear cap when you're getting ready to apply: The lid comes off easily with just a bit of force, so leave that as is. The color and melting sensation are truly unbeatable... It's hands down the best tint I've ever used! However, whenever I apply just this one, my lips immediately react like this... I think it might be cheilitis... It breaks my heart that the tint I loved the most causes this reaction. The color builds up gradually, reducing the risk of mistakes even when applied in a hurry. I'm thoroughly satisfied with it as a daily lip color. What's great about this product is its versatility. While it's lovely on its own, it really shines when layered. I love applying a darker lip color to the inner part of my lips first, then using Mute Peach like a lip pencil around the edges. This technique makes my lips look plump and adds a gorgeous sheen, resulting in a more natural and beautiful finish. I highly recommend this shade, especially for makeup beginners. The color isn't overwhelming, and it brightens up your overall look. It's truly a must-try! While there's a lot to love about this product, I did find the staining and dryness a bit disappointing. Initially, it applies smoothly with a moisturizing feel. However, as time passes, it tends to stain the lips quite strongly. Rather than leaving a pretty stain, it can look a bit patchy, which might be inconvenient for those who don't touch up their lip makeup frequently. Also, while it starts off with a lovely glossy finish, once the moisture evaporates, my lips quickly became dry and any dead skin cells became more noticeable. As someone with naturally dry lips prone to flaking, I found I had to use a lip balm or primer with this tint. The final look really depends on the condition of your lips. On days when your lips are dry or flaky, you might need to check and touch up your lip makeup more often. Mute Peach is beautiful on its own, but it truly shines when layered with other lip products. Try using a lip pencil to define your lip line and create a slight overline, then apply Mute Peach over it. Follow up by dabbing a darker shade in the center of your lips. This creates a natural gradient effect, defines your lip line, and makes your lips look plump and juicy. Keep in mind that this tint has strong staining power, so you might notice some residual color even after removing your makeup. I recommend applying a generous layer of lip balm before makeup application, and using cleansing oil or a dedicated makeup remover to thoroughly cleanse your lips at the end of the day. My preferred application method is: lip balm → a touch of foundation to even out lip color or lip pencil for definition → Mute Peach → a dab of darker lip color in the center. This approach gives the prettiest color payoff and longest wear time. If longevity is your top priority, consider using a lip primer. I used to use Pomelo Skin before, but when it was renewed, the color turned out awful. So I decided to try this one instead, and I have to say, the color isn't bad at all when you first apply it. The reapplication and staining are really strange. As time passes, the color changes weirdly, so you have to keep reapplying it, which ends up irritating your lips. I bought the renewed Juicy Lasting Tint, and it looked beautiful when I first applied it. Within 1-2 minutes of application, the color completely changes to pink, and the staining is way too intense in pink. The actual color doesn't match the product page at all... The initial appearance was promising, but the dramatic color shift and intense staining are disappointing.
