This cool and deep red color is perfect for winter cool skin tones. However, if you're not a fan of deep reds, I wouldn't recommend it. Also, the staying power is a bit disappointing. - tr********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJan 12, 2023
The color is beautiful. It's a pink-red with a blue undertone - exactly the shade I expected! It does stain quite a bit. A regular cleansing emulsion won't remove it completely. You'll definitely need a lip remover. - c-****Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedAug 6, 2022
Better than the same product in Pink Sand shade! Apply it to the inner lips and blend outwards for a gradient effect - it creates a truly beautiful, dimensional lip look! There's really nothing to complain about. But if I had to nitpick, when you first use it, the lipstick might not fully retract, so it could slightly stain the cap. Just be careful when closing it initially. - 07********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJan 22, 2022
This lip color is a perfect cool-toned red that's ideal for those of us with winter cool undertones! It's an absolute must-have for a statement lip. I'm in love with Rom&nd's Zero Matte Lipstick's unique formula too - it's simply amazing! I didn't find any major drawbacks while using it. However, I wouldn't recommend this to those who typically don't suit vibrant shades! - wk****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedDec 17, 2021
It's a cool-toned bright red, perfect for those with cool undertones, especially winter cool bright complexions. When applied as a full lip, it brightens up your face, and it's equally beautiful as a gradient. I think it would also look great on winter cool dark skin tones. It severely emphasizes dead skin cells, and due to the nature of the lipstick, it lacks adherence, so it fades away quickly. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedJun 24, 2021
The color payoff is fantastic! I'm really satisfied with the shade, it seems to be a cool-toned red. It's a bit matte, but that's not really a downside. The application is quite smooth! Even if I'm wearing minimal makeup, just applying this lip color seems to brighten up my whole face! - ma*******Combination SkinRecommendedApr 9, 2021
As someone with a cool vivid undertone, I decided to try this cool-toned lipstick. While it might feel a bit deep for a vivid tone, when applied as a gradient, it's absolutely stunning. The red with a slight plum tint is just perfect! There's not much to dislike, but I should mention that this is definitely a cool-toned lip color, so I wouldn't recommend it for those with warm undertones. - th*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 6, 2021
Note: I'm a Winter Cool (though I got Bright Winter, I'm not entirely sure)! Color: It's a shade that suits cool tones beautifully. However, for those seeking an extremely cool tone, it might feel a tad lukewarm. If we were to rank the reds in order of coolness, it would be something like Red Surfer >>>> Red Dive >> Red Carpet. If you're after a cooler, more summer-like shade, I'd recommend Red Surfer over this one! Since the color differs quite a bit from what's shown on the official website, I suggest checking out YouTube reviews. I found the reviews by Minsco (she's incredibly thorough, covering everything from color variations across phone models to texture, and her video quality is amazing! I'm such a fan of Lipsco ❤❤), Hoonion (she's bubbly, accurate in her reviews, and articulate. Hoonion is so adorable!), and Youturu (if this person had gone into multi-level marketing, I swear every heated floor in the country would be sold out) particularly helpful! Gradient: As it fades, the pink undertones seem to become more pronounced. This doesn't mean it turns pink, but rather that the pinkish quality within the shade becomes more noticeable. Full lip application: I tend to apply it fully. Instead of strictly following your lip line, apply it just enough to enhance your natural lip shape, then gently smudge the edges. It looks absolutely gorgeous this way! Texture: It's not called Zero Matte for nothing. It feels incredibly lightweight when applied. The absorbs well and the color payoff is excellent! It's also quite easy to layer. While it's matte, it's not that dry, cracking kind of matte - it's more of a soft, velvety matte finish. I can't say it doesn't come off easily. It will definitely transfer and fade when wearing a mask. After one meal, it seems like about a third of it disappears. For full lip application, if you layer it about 3 times and then gently pat some foundation on top, it tends to stay on longer! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedDec 15, 2020
I suspect this is more suitable for cool undertones (though I'm not 100% certain). It applies smoothly and has decent staying power for a lipstick. I'd recommend it more for cool-toned individuals than warm-toned ones. There's a significant color discrepancy between the official website swatches and the actual product, making it risky to purchase based solely on online images. For best results, apply a layer of petroleum jelly to your lips before bed the night before use. This helps prevent dead skin cells and ensures a beautiful application. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedNov 3, 2020
I have a deep warm autumn complexion. (I adjusted the second photo to match the lip color.) First off, I only use matte lipsticks, and this one applies incredibly smoothly despite being matte. After application, it feels weightless - you can't even tell it's there. I love how it leaves a velvety finish! Even though it's a darker shade, it has a fresh feel that would be perfect for summer. Among the deeper shades, this one doesn't feel heavy at all. As someone with a deep warm autumn tone, I usually go for deeper colors. I bought this thinking it would be that intense dark red shade shown on the official website, even for winter cool tones. Unfortunately, the color doesn't quite match up. You need to apply it two or three times to get close to the website's color. It also has a slight hot pink undertone, appearing as a muted dark hot pink with one application. Because of this, I don't use it often. While the color is pretty, I think it's more suitable for those with cool undertones. I recommend exfoliating your lips before application (I often have chapped lips, and if I apply without exfoliating, the color clings more intensely to the dry areas). I prefer a matte finish, so I don't use lip balm underneath. It doesn't feel dry or tight, so it's fine to apply on its own.
