To be honest, I've always thought vitamin-based products didn't suit me, but as I've gotten older, I've become more interested in brightening and blemish control, which is why I applied for this test. As expected, it didn't work well for me. I experienced a tingling sensation and redness. However, the positive aspects I noticed about this product are: - The oil and moisture balance is suitable for oily skin types - Trustworthy ingredients - A comfortable, colorless, and odorless formula - The powder mix format offers a unique freshness compared to other products Whether it was due to incompatible ingredients or not, I personally found it drying on my skin. - hj*********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 4, 2025Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

That's when I came across Vegan Effect's Vita C Blemish Mix Ampoule. I had heard that using vitamin C with niacinamide was beneficial, so I was using them separately before. This product conveniently contains vitamin C, E, and niacinamide all in one, simplifying my skincare routine. One of the product's strengths is that vitamin C, which oxidizes easily, comes in a powder form separate from the ampoule. This prevents oxidation and spoilage concerns. Compared to other vitamin C products I've tried, this one seems to be more effective in improving blemishes! With consistent use, I think it might also have a brightening effect. What I appreciate most is that it's fragrance-free, which is great. I have sensitive skin that easily turns red and reacts, but this felt gentle when applied! There's a slight vitamin scent, but it's not artificially fragranced, which actually makes me trust the product more. It's non-irritating and has a watery texture without any stickiness, so I think even those with oily skin could use it comfortably. The amount of product is quite small for the price, which is disappointing. However, it's about the size of a slightly larger lip balm, so it would be convenient for travel! Also, the pump dispenser was a bit inconvenient. It's a bit stiff to press and tends to squirt sideways. I think a dropper bottle would have been easier to use. - bd******Oily SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 26, 2025
I love that the ingredients are gentle. It's great for sensitive skin as it doesn't cause any irritation. There's a temporary brightening effect, so I think consistent use could lead to good results. I'm happy I was able to buy it at a slightly discounted price during a promotion. I appreciate that it's a gentle brightening product. So far, I can't really think of any downsides. - te********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 25, 2025
I'm excited about this new brightening product from Vegan Effect! The ingredients are gentle, and I love that you can use both the powder and ampoule together - it's quite innovative. It's reassuring that it doesn't cause redness or irritation when applied, making it pleasant to use. I noticed a temporary brightening effect after use, so I think consistent application could yield good results. I'll definitely keep using it! The only downside is that the volume is a bit small and it's not exactly budget-friendly, which is slightly disappointing. Other than that, I don't have any complaints. - ha********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 23, 2025Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

That's why many people opt for stable powder forms to mix with their existing products. I really liked that this product's packaging allows you to activate the internal powder by pumping it just before first use. This ensures freshness. However, once you've activated the powder, it's best to use it up within 2 months without trying to save it. The product itself even mentions this two-month timeframe! I chose this product because I wanted to try a pure Vitamin C formula after previously using products with Vitamin C derivatives. Pure Vitamin C products are said to be more effective but potentially more irritating, while derivative products are gentler but slightly less potent. It's important to choose based on your skin's needs rather than just going for the strongest option to avoid skin reactions. After about a week of use, I noticed my complexion becoming ever so slightly brighter. I'm hopeful that consistent use will yield even better results! Regarding the scent, to be honest, it's not exactly pleasant... but I much prefer it to artificial fragrances. It has a subtle metallic smell, similar to iron supplements. The scent is noticeable during application but doesn't linger once you apply your next skincare step. The texture is a watery liquid that flows easily. Unless you have extremely sensitive skin or active inflammation/wounds, this seems like a great product for daily skincare maintenance. As shown in the photo, there were tiny particles floating in the product. I contacted Vegan Effect's customer service about this issue. They collected the product and sent me a new one. They said they would inform me of the results after checking, but it's been delayed. I'll update my review when I receive their response. I used to think pure Vitamin C should only be applied at night, but it turns out it's beneficial to use during the day too. It helps protect against oxidative stress from UV rays and pollution. Just make sure to apply sunscreen diligently after using the serum during the day. To maximize absorption: - Use a slightly acidic cleanser to prep your skin, as Vitamin C is acidic. - Apply the Vitamin C product first, before other skincare steps. - Wait about a minute after applying Vitamin C before moving on to other products, as they can neutralize the skin's pH. These tips come from dermatologists, and I've been trying to follow them myself. - we***Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 22, 2025Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

I didn't know that and just pressed it lightly, so nothing came out. At first, I thought it was defective. Remember to press the puff hard! That's how the powder side opens up. The formula has a water-like consistency that flows smoothly. It applies moisturizing and absorbs well without feeling like it's sitting on top of the skin. It absorbs quickly, which left my skin feeling slightly dry. Also, I tend to get blemishes on my chin before my period, and whenever I applied it to that area, I felt a stinging sensation and irritation. It was fine when I applied it only around my cheekbones where I have freckles, avoiding the troubled areas. After using a toner pack, I apply an ampoule and then follow up with a rich cream. This routine helps reduce the feeling of dryness! - di********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 22, 2025
I've always struggled with a dull complexion and blemishes, but after using the Vegan Effect Kakadu Vitamin C Ampoule, my skin tone has significantly brightened! Pros: 1. Contains 10% pure Vitamin C, making it a high-concentration vitamin ampoule, yet it doesn't cause much irritation when applied. 2. Absorbs well, leaving the skin feeling fresh and hydrated. 3. Being a vegan product, it's safe for even super sensitive skin. 4. The pump-type dispenser is more hygienic than a dropper. 5. The lightweight bottle is convenient for travel and easy to carry around. Cons: The pump-type dispenser can sometimes dispense too much product at once. To avoid this, I've been applying it to my hand first before putting it on my face. - mi******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJan 21, 2025Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

While I didn't notice a significant difference in my dark spots, I did feel that my complexion became slightly brighter overall. Unfortunately, I haven't seen much improvement in fading my dark spots yet. I'll use up the remaining product, but I'm a bit disappointed with this aspect. I think using this alongside other brightening products could potentially create a synergistic effect for better results. - ys*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 21, 2025Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

The absorption was neither too sticky nor too light - just like a typical ampoule! As someone with dry skin, I found it quite nice! While I didn't notice any dramatic whitening effects after a week of use, I did feel like my complexion became a bit clearer! Since it's a vitamin ampoule, it might be a bit irritating for those with super sensitive skin. I have somewhat sensitive skin, and I experienced a slight tingling sensation. It might work well when mixed with a moisturizer. - pl********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinInner DrynessRecommendedJan 20, 2025Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers
