I tried a sample I received - you can see it on the back of my right hand. Compared to the Jinsul line I've also used, this one feels less rich, which is better for my oily skin. It's still plenty nourishing though! The white particles inside might be mistaken for spoilage. The fragrance is much stronger than Jinsul's, and while not as pricey as Jinsul, it's still expensive. - tj*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesRednessRecommendedJul 14, 2024
The fragrance is incredibly strong. To be honest, I was hesitant to use it at first because of the scent, but as I continued using it, I think I've gotten used to it. I liked that when I applied it all over my face and gently pressed it with my hands, it absorbed quickly. It's not sticky and doesn't leave an oily residue, so it doesn't make your skin look shiny. At the same time, it doesn't dry out quickly either. It's great for providing hydration to the skin. Since it's a product with a strong scent, I think it would be better if the fragrance was a bit less intense. - bo**********Oily SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedMay 5, 2024
I used to think Sulwhasoo was all about that mature fragrance, but lately, it's like I'm treating myself to some kind of luxurious tonic. It absorbs well, and when I use it, I definitely notice a radiant glow and deep hydration. Well, the price point is on the higher side. They even charge for samples. Those samples... make sure to grab as many as you can. - va******Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 4, 2024
A product I buy once a year, specifically for Children's Day. The ginseng flower scent is absolutely divine, though I understand it might not be everyone's cup of tea. If you look closely at the photo, you can see tiny capsules - there are 100,000 ginseng capsules in there! They claim to use a rare saponin extracted from ginseng (only 1g from 1000g of ginseng) that's been concentrated over 6000 times to create their proprietary Ginsenomics™ ingredient. While I'm not an expert on the technology, the fact that it won the Jang Young Sil Award suggests some serious research went into it - which probably explains the price tag. They say they've sold 4.5 million bottles cumulatively. Even if that's an exaggeration and it's only 2 million, it's still impressive. It's hard to believe so many people use such an expensive product, but I was skeptical too until I tried it myself. I usually get itchy and break out with blemishes when I use creams, so I've stuck to lighter essences. But when I hit 40 and needed to address wrinkles, the Concentrated Ginseng Renewing Serum came to my rescue. It's sold for about 180,000 won for 50ml. I'd recommend waiting to purchase when they're offering lots of samples. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 26, 2024
I've tried all the Sulwhasoo samples, and I must say, it absorbs well like nothing else! It's so expensive... Sigh. But it might be worth a try if you can find it at the lowest price. Lowest price - ji******Dry SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 20, 2024
First off, I love the ginseng scent. The serum is transparent but contains these little capsule-like particles, and it absorbs really well. It's packed with nourishment, never leaves my face feeling tight, and has anti-aging properties. The hydration is deep and long-lasting, with just the right amount of richness. It's perfect! I wish I could use this until I'm a grandma! I've heard there are sometimes counterfeit products sold online, so we need to be careful about that. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedMar 14, 2024
It's great that you only need to apply one layer as it's not sticky at all. It's quite convenient. Unfortunately, when I layer two or three products, I always end up with blemishes on my cheeks. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMar 5, 2024
It generously provides elasticity and hydration to dry, flaky skin The quantity is a bit disappointing for the price, but it's worth buying during a sale I've heard it works well with the Concentrated Ginseng Renewing Ampoule, so I'll try using them together next time - kk******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresMar 2, 2024
The scent might be a bit polarizing for some people. It's a bit pricey for everyday use. Considering the price point, the ingredients are quite disappointing. I think I'll try something else next time. - ir*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 16, 2024
I received this as a gift and tried it out. The absorption and application are excellent! It really lives up to its role as an anti-aging skincare product. It feels luxurious and would make a great gift too! Most Sulwhasoo products don't suit me, often leaving my skin too oily or causing blemishes. With this one, I experienced breakouts for about the first two weeks. However, I'm still using it, but I have to be careful to only apply it on days when my skin is in good condition!
