This cleansing oil caused almost no irritation. Other cleansing oils have given me something like hives, but this one was much gentler on my skin. It doesn't... remove makeup that easily. However, if you really work at it, it does eventually come off. While this cleansing oil is gentle and suitable for sensitive skin, it may require a bit more effort to effectively remove stubborn makeup. For those prioritizing a non-irritating formula over powerful cleansing, this could be a good option. Consider following up with a second cleanse for thorough makeup removal. - sy******Combination SkinRecommendedJul 15, 2025
I switched from the yellow Manyo Factory Pure Cleansing Oil to this one, and I use it specifically for removing sebum. It's so gentle and amazing! Here's my trick: I apply it to my chin and nose where I have whiteheads and blackheads, leave it on for 2-3 minutes while I brush my teeth, then cleanse. It leaves my skin so clean! Even in summer, I'm able to easily manage my blackheads with this. Three cheers for Manyo Factory! When it comes to removing makeup, I think the Pure Cleansing Oil might have better cleansing effectiveness. In the morning, I apply it to my nose, chin, and T-zone, then wash it off. - lj*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 4, 2025
Strong herbal scent with a lightweight, hydrating formula Less rich than Manyo Factory's yellow oil, making it a better option for those with oily skin. The price point is similar to Manyo Factory's yellow oil, so there's no compelling reason to choose this one. - a5*******Combination SkinEnlarged PoresJul 1, 2025
29*****Combination SkinJun 28, 2025
The cleansing effectiveness is truly impressive, and I love that a little goes a long way. Unfortunately, my face feels a bit tight after use, and there's a lingering residue that's disappointing. - ng********Normal SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 22, 2025
When you massage this Witch's Potion oil over your makeup, it melts away completely, drawing out every bit of sebum from deep within your pores. After using it, I experienced a slight tingling sensation, but everything else was fine. Gently massaging it around your nose area is a surefire way to banish sebum. For best results, follow up with a cleansing foam after use. - pa*********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessRecommendedJun 22, 2025
As someone with combination dehydrated skin that's super sensitive, even one wrong cleansing product can instantly upset my skin. This product is gentle enough for sensitive skin types to use without worry. It's amazing at removing excess oil! It also does a great job of removing makeup. I can't imagine cleansing without it now. The fragrance is overpowering, lingering on my face even after rinsing. - jj********Jun 18, 2025
The cleansing effectiveness seems pretty good, and initially, it gives a smooth feeling to the skin texture (especially around the brow area and nose). However, if you're like me and your skin doesn't agree well with oils, you might end up with worse skin texture in the long run. I was about to buy the famous yellow one, but I heard this was gentler, so I went for it. Well... I don't think that's the case. The more I used it, the more irritation and tingling I experienced. After cleansing and patting dry, I felt some deep dryness, and when I applied my skincare products, my face had a burning sensation. I've always thought I had pretty resilient skin since I rarely get blemishes, but I'm not sure if this product just doesn't suit me or if I actually have super sensitive skin? At first, it seemed fine, but after about 3 days of use, my skin suddenly turned red and irritated, so I've stopped using it for now. When choosing a cleanser, it's important to consider your skin type and sensitivities. If you experience irritation or redness, it's best to discontinue use and consult with a dermatologist. Remember, what works for others may not work for you, so always patch test new products and introduce them gradually into your skincare routine. - ji********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 10, 2025
I use this to remove my makeup, and it works really well while being incredibly gentle! Other cleansing oils I've tried left me feeling stuffy, but this one leaves my skin feeling fresh, which I love. I've been using it for two weeks now, and I haven't found anything to complain about yet. This cleansing oil seems to be effective at removing makeup while being gentle on the skin. The user appreciates its mild formula and how it leaves the skin feeling fresh rather than heavy or uncomfortable. After two weeks of use, they haven't experienced any drawbacks, suggesting overall satisfaction with the product. - gu******Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 8, 2025
It's a pleasant product to use without any fuss. There's no irritation, and I didn't experience any blemishes. Hmm, given how many great cleansing oils are out there, this one doesn't seem particularly appealing compared to other products. It's just... okay, I guess.
