After struggling with allergic contact dermatitis for months, my poor skin! The dermatologist recommended using only mineral sunscreen, so I tried a sample. When I didn't get any blemishes, I bought the full-size product. It's incredibly difficult to remove. I applied it to my face and body for swimming at the beach, and even after showering 2-3 times, it didn't come off completely. My facial skin is already super sensitive, so I can't use harsh cleansers. Even after double cleansing, it won't come off, which is driving me crazy... I've developed acne on my face. If you want waterproof protection for water activities, this works exceptionally well. However, the cleansing process is extremely harsh, so those with sensitive skin should avoid it. I have oily skin that gets super greasy by afternoon, but honestly, when I applied this before my base makeup, it didn't break down even in the afternoon!!! I think this is a decent mineral sunscreen. It applies smoothly and absorbs well. It causes some irritation and redness. There's a white cast, and it can make dead skin cells flake up during application. To be honest, I can't think of any particular positives... It's too rich and caused deep blemishes to form... This is what happens when I only use physical sunscreens.
