1. Smudge-proof
This product barely smudges. As someone with monolids, I've tried everything claiming to be smudge-proof, but this one really delivers. Just apply and let it dry properly, and you'll see minimal smudging. It's truly effective.

2. Easy to apply
I've been using this since my teens, and even when I wasn't skilled at applying eyeliner, this product was always easy to use. It glides on smoothly, and it's also easy to touch up, making it perfect for makeup beginners. It's genuinely amazing!

3. Price
The price is also very reasonable. If this product is really being discontinued, please reconsider! It must be relaunched. This is a true holy grail I've used for 10 years. Highly recommended!

Hello! This is a review of Clio's Waterproof Brush Liner in Kill Black.

Staying Power: 
If you apply it in the morning, it won't budge until late evening unless you rub your eyes or touch them excessively! It felt like it maintained its shape well throughout the day. Unlike other brands' eyeliners, I didn't experience any panda eyes, smudging, or transfer below the eyes!

Color Payoff: 
I loved that it didn't lose its pigmentation with continued use, unlike some other brands like Kiss*! 

The product packaging seems to match Clio's brand image - it looks luxurious with its black design and a subtle, pretty shimmer.

For best results, use it with a primer. It might be a bit tricky to apply, but if you layer it like this: eyeshadow base, liner, let it dry well, then another layer of eyeshadow on top - it won't budge at all.

While it works fine at first, the more you use it, the more you need to shake it vigorously. If you don't check before applying, you might end up with dried-out product that makes a mess. Despite claims, this one isn't completely smudge-proof either. It does come off, unfortunately.

As someone with hooded eyes and watery eyes, I've tried pretty much every waterproof product out there. I can honestly say that none of them were truly budge-proof until now. This is the only one that's managed to become a staple in my routine. It applies smoothly with a clean finish, lasts surprisingly long, and doesn't smudge easily. I love that it doesn't smear and removes cleanly when I want it to.

As everyone probably knows, it's good to draw on the back of your hand once or twice to adjust the intensity before applying.
When I apply eyeliner, I start from the middle of the eye towards the outer corner, then work towards the inner corner, and finally shape the desired cat eye.

•Removal: You need to use an eye makeup remover to take it off.
To be honest, I've only seen advantages while using this liner, so I can't really think of any drawbacks.

•Waterproof: It's great that this item is water-resistant for everyday use.
•Smudge-proof: I have thin double eyelids in the front, and other products usually smudge where my eyelids fold. This one doesn't smudge much, so I'm on my 8th tube.
•Color/Pigmentation: It's definitely a deep black, so when you apply it after eye makeup, it looks bold and intense. I've tried both pen and brush types, but I prefer the brush type because I can draw thin lines, which is perfect for creating cat eyes.

When it's not dispensing well, try shaking it and swiping it on a tissue to get it flowing better.

Over time, it flakes under the eyes. Occasionally, it doesn't dispense properly, making it hard to tell if it's empty or just not working. (I wasn't aware of any harmful ingredients, but come to think of it, I've noticed more styes since I started using this...?)

I've repurchased this 4 times because it's truly smudge-proof and unbeatable for creating a defined eye shape with beautifully elongated corners.

As you use it, eyeshadow tends to build up and harden on the brush part, so you need to clean it frequently.

I've used over 8 of these so far. They absolutely never smudge. When I apply makeup after using this to control oil around my eyes, it doesn't smear even after sleeping.

If you apply dark brown eyeshadow over the eyeliner, it significantly increases its staying power!

I'm not sure yet, but it seems like if you make one mistake with the brush pen, it can ruin the whole look...

I love this brush-tip eyeliner. It's easy to apply and has great staying power. I'm satisfied with its performance.

Being a brush type, the bristles can get a bit tangled when you're trying to get between the lashes. I'm thinking of trying a pen type next time. The color application becomes slightly faint when drawing the wing.

It doesn't smudge easily! My face tends to get quite oily, and pencil or gel liners would turn me into a panda in no time, but this product held up well. I found the brush type easier to draw a line with compared to pencils or gels.
