This is a review of Clio's Waterproof Brush Liner in Kill Black. Staying Power: If you apply it in the morning, it won't budge until late evening unless you rub your eyes or touch them excessively! It felt like it maintained its shape well throughout the day. Unlike other brands' eyeliners, I didn't experience any panda eyes, smudging, or transfer below the eyes! Color Payoff: I loved that it didn't lose its pigmentation with continued use, unlike some other brands like Kiss*! The product packaging seems to match Clio's brand image - it looks luxurious with its black design and a subtle, pretty shimmer.
ConsI can't really think of any downsides! I'm not sure why it's been discontinued, but it's still available for purchase online!
TipIf you're looking to switch from another brand's product, I think you can confidently try this one without being disappointed!

It's easy to apply and has great staying power. I'm satisfied with its performance.
ConsThere are too many questionable ingredients, so I won't be repurchasing...

Even when applied to the waterline, it lasts a solid 12 hours. It's truly impressive!
ConsI've been getting terrible styes. My eyes swell up, hurt, and it's just awful. Just when one starts to heal, another pops up. I kept switching out my eyeshadows thinking they were the culprit. But it kept happening, so I decided to check the ingredients of this eyeliner and was shocked to find how bad they are. While it's great that it doesn't smudge, since I've stopped using it, I haven't had a single inflammatory issue like styes. Please be cautious when using this product.

It seems good value for money and the staying power is decent. If the drawbacks mentioned below were improved, I could really recommend this as an excellent product.
ConsOver time, a bit of powder falls under the eyes. It's not too severe, so you can easily brush it off without much concern. However, the real issue that develops as time passes is the product's coating. As the outer layer peels off, it causes powder to fall, which is an unexpected nuisance. Black powder scatters all over every cosmetic item in your makeup bag. Worse yet, it's hard to remove. I really struggled to clean it off. Once it starts peeling, you might as well consider buying a new makeup bag.

I've tried almost every popular eyeliner from Kiss Me and Tony Moly that people rave about, but even the waterproof ones would smudge and fade on my monolids. However, this one is a game-changer! It stays put without budging or smudging, even after crying during a movie or wearing it for hours. No touch-ups needed at all. The way it applies so precisely and boldly is truly outstanding.
ConsThere are absolutely no drawbacks. It's genuinely perfect in every way.

I bought it for around 18,000 won and didn't feel like the amount was too little. Rather than smudging, it's more like it fades away? Anyway, I liked that it didn't leave a messy look.
ConsIt's an auto-type, but a large amount comes out at once, making it difficult to control the quantity. It's quite expensive for an eyeliner, costing nearly 20,000 won.
TipIf you can control the amount well, it's a holy grail item for drawing beautiful lines. Although I wasted some product while learning to control the amount, I used it for quite a long time. It doesn't smudge even in summer, allowing for a clean application, and it's easily removed with cleansing oil, so cleansing isn't a hassle. It's a product that doesn't disappear completely even if you don't touch it up all day - when you get home, it might look a bit faded but it's still there. It definitely seems worth the price.

The staying power is surprisingly good. Most others I've tried smudged, but this one stays put better than any I've used.
ConsWhile it's waterproof and doesn't smudge, there's some fallout. If you don't touch up for a while, you might notice some powder under your eyes.

It does fade a bit with prolonged use, but it still stays intense and beautiful. The brush applicator allows for thin and precise lines. I tend to draw thicker lines, and it works great for that too. My eyes usually make everything smudge, whether it's Tony Moly or Woodbury. The Face Shop's Choco Latte was somewhat smudge-resistant, but Clio is truly smudge-proof. I've tried this one, the brush liner Kill Brown, and the pen liner (sponge type) in brown - none of them smudge. As expected from Clio! To be honest, without an eye primer, it might get a bit messy at the corners when touching up in the afternoon. But it doesn't leave dark smudges under the eyes. With an eye primer, it stays sharp from morning till night. It even survives a nap! This is definitely my holy grail eyeliner.
ConsThe price is 18,000 won. Considering that brush pen eyeliners tend to run out faster than other pen or gel eyeliners, it's not exactly cheap. I wear makeup every day except Sundays, and at this rate, it doesn't last two months. As you use it, the liquid can dry on the brush tip, making it seem like it's empty to first-time users who might throw it away. When this happens, just scrape off the dried product from inside the cap (like peeling a potato skin) and give it a good shake. It'll work like new again. When carried in a makeup pouch, the print-like surface on the pen tends to peel off, leaving annoying silver flakes on your hands after application.
TipYou can get it at 30%~50% off during Olive Young sales or Club Clio promotions. (During the last holiday collection, it was 12,600 won and came with a Salon de Cara sample.)

It draws on dark and smooth, and easily washes off with lukewarm water. Even though my eye area is quite oily and moist, surprisingly this product doesn't budge at all. As long as you don't touch it, the staying power is incredible!
ConsIt can flake off and disappear if you touch it, so it's best to avoid touching around the eyes.
